June 22, 2010 | Nickelodeon closed the week (6/14/10-6/20/10) as basic cable’s number-one network in total day with kids 2-11(3.5/1.2 million), kids 6-11 (3.4/748,000), and total viewers (2.3 million). Nick’s weekly win was driven by a premiere of Big Time Rush (Friday, June 18, 8 p.m. ET/PT), which drew 3.2 million total viewers and averaged a 5.2/1.9 million K2-11, 0.3/1.4 million K6-11, 4.6/1.0 million.
- Friday 6/18 Cable Ratings: “Suite Life” and “Big Time Rush” Win, “Ben 10″ and “Generator Rex” Down
June 21, 2010 | The second season finale of Suite Life on Deck scored 3.7 million viewers with a 4.5/20 kids 2-11 rating coming in slightly ahead of a new Big Time Rush on Nickelodeon with total viewers (3.2 million) but equal in the kids 2-11 demo (4.5/21). Cartoon Network’s new episodes of Ben 10 and Generator Rex were down about a half-million viewers from the previous week and about 0.5 points in the kids 2-11 demos.
- “The Suite Life on Deck” One-Hour Season 2 Finale Scores 3.7 Million Viewers
June 21, 2010 | Powered by the one-hour Season 2 finale event of “The Suite Life on Deck,” Disney Channel was Friday’s No. 1 cable network in Prime in Total Viewers (2.9 million) and TV’s No. 1 network in Kids 6-11 (1.3 million/5.1 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (1.1 million/4.7 rating), crushing No. 2 Nick-at-Nite by 213% (1.3 million vs. 403,000) and 154% (1.1 million vs. 450,000), respectively. On a Total Day basis, Disney Channel ranked a dominant No. 1 in Kids 6-11 (812,000/3.3 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (726,000/3.0 rating).
- “Nick News: Middle School Unplugged” Premieres Sunday, June 27 on Nickelodeon
June 21, 2010 | What happens when three text-happy, techie tweens take a challenge to unplug for a week? Nick News with Linda Ellerbee finds out in Middle School Unplugged, premiering Sunday, June 27, at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on Nickelodeon. Nick News asked kids across the country to go online and nominate a tech-obsessed friend or sibling who needed an intervention. Three offenders were chosen and challenged to abstain from using any form of technology for one week. The half-hour special follows their journey as they go seven days without smartphones, iPods, computers, MP3 players, video games, TV or radio. Yep. No texts, tweets or tunes.

June 17, 2010 | Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy and their talking dog Scooby-Doo are back, solving mysteries in the spooky town of Crystal Cove in the animated Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated premiering Monday, July 12 at 7 p.m. (ET, PT). Crystal Cove is a sleepy coastal village that boasts a long history of ghostly sightings, werewolves and glowing deep sea divers. Because of all the mystery, Crystal Cove has become a tourist hotspot, taking in major profits and the townspeople don’t appreciate the meddling of the renowned sleuthing team.

June 15, 2010 | This week qualified as Disney XD’s most-watched week since its February 2009 launch in Total Day in Kids 6-14 (206,000), Boys 6-14 (123,000), Kids 6-11 (164,000), Boys 6-11 (98,000), Kids 9-14 (130,000) and Boys 9-14 (77,000) and second most-watched week in Total Viewers (379,000).
