July 2, 2010 | Nickelodeon’s Nicktoons channel has released their July schedules. Returning to the line-up is fan-favorite Invader ZIM, airing Mondays-Thursdays from 10-11PM and again from 1-2AM, Fridays from 8-9PM and again from 11PM-12AM, Saturdays from 5-6PM and Sundays from 11AM-12:30PM.
- “MetaJets” Premieres Sunday, July 4 on Cartoon Network
June 30, 2010 | Cookie Jar Entertainment's action-adventure series "Metajets" will make its U.S. debut on Cartoon Network on July 4th. It will kick off with a five-hour marathon airing from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. A co-production with Korea's Sunwoo, "Metajets" will be stripped Monday - Friday mornings at 6 a.m. starting on July 5th.

June 29, 2010 | Disney Channel is TV’s No. 1 network in Prime in Kids 6-11 (988,000/4.0 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (801,000/3.3 rating), extending its streak to 21 consecutive quarters in Kids 6-11 and 44 straight quarters in Tweens 9-14.
- Sunday 6/27 Cable Ratings: New Good Luck Charlie Slightly Better Than iCarly, Big Time Rush and VICTORiOUS Repeats
June 29, 2010 | Sunday night’s new episode of Good Luck Charlie at 8:30PM on Disney Channel was beaten slight by Nickelodeon’s encore of iCarly at 7PM in total viewers (3.154 vs. 3.184), 0.4 points better in the kids 2-11 demo (4.5 vs. 4.1), just 0.1 better in the teens 12-17 demo (2.2 vs. 2.1) and down 0.1 in the adults 18-49 demo (0.5 vs. 0.6). The Big Time Rush repeat dropped from iCarly, but Nick picked right back up at 8PM with a repeat of VICTORiOUS.

June 29, 2010 | In 1970, Hanna-Barbera released a show that would take both the cartoon and music worlds by storm. Josie and the Pussycats, based on Dan DeCarlo’s Archie Comics comic book series of the same name, debuted with 16 episodes that originally aired Saturday mornings on CBS. In 1972, the show was re-conceptualized as the spin-off Josie and the Pussycats in Outer Space. Reruns and a guest spot on The New Scooby-Doo Movies kept the show going well into the 70’s, and a 2001 live-action movie attested to the show’s timeless appeal. Now Boomerang, the commercial-free home of classic animation, celebrates summer with a little rock ‘n roll, naming Josie the featured star of July’s Boomeroyalty weekends. Beginning July 3, the network with showcase favorite Josie and the Pussycats episodes every Saturday and Sunday, 2 - 4 p.m. (ET).
- Nickelodeon Scores Its Most-Watched Second Quarter Ever
June 29, 2010 | Nickelodeon closes the quarter with its biggest second quarter performance ever with total viewers (P2+) in the network’s history and its 61st straight quarter as the top basic cable network with kids 2-11 and total viewers—the longest run of its kind. Nick also claims basic cable’s top spot in total day with kids 2-11 and persons 2+ for 2Q10. According to Nielsen Media Research (3/29/10-6/27/10), Nickelodeon averaged 2.2 million total viewers; a 3.4/1.2 million K2-11; a 3.0/649,000 K6-11; and 2.3/491,000 T9-14 for the quarter.

- The NFL Gets Animated on Nicktoons This Fall
June 28, 2010 | The NFL and Nicktoons will team-up for a series of animated shorts, Rush Zone: Guardians of the Core (22 episodes) that will air during football season, from September and February. The event will conclude with a one-hour TV movie event the day before the Super Bowl.
