- Disney Channel Renews “Good Luck Charlie” for Second Season, Original Movie
July 12, 2010 | Disney Channel has ordered up a second season of its newest out-of-the gate hit, "Good Luck Charlie" -- just three months after its premiere. Development has also begun on a holiday-themed "Good Luck Charlie" Disney Channel Original Movie. The movie, being written by Geoff Rodkey ("R.V.," "Daddy Day Care"), will star the talented series cast, Bridgit Mendler, Jason Dolley, Bradley Steven Perry, Mia Talerico, Leigh-Allyn Baker and Eric Allan Kramer. The announcement was made today by Gary Marsh, president, Entertainment, and chief creative officer, Disney Channels Worldwide.

July 9, 2010 | As you may have noticed, Scooby-Doo has already taken over the Nick and More! logo; however, this weekend he’ll be taking over the Cartoon Network schedule.
- Press Release: “Degrassi” Season 10 Premieres July 19 on TeenNick
July 9, 2010 | Degrassi, the smash-hit teen series, will break new creative ground in its landmark 10th season on TeenNick this summer as it’s presented in a prime-time telenovela-style format for the first time in the show’s history. Following a new original two-hour TV movie titled “The Heat is On” airing Monday, July 19 (9 pm ET), Degrassi will premiere in a prime-time serialized format for six straight weeks (Mondays-Thursdays at 9 pm ET) through August 26. Additionally, TeenNick will air a weekly two-hour encore of the week’s past episodes each Friday night (9-11 pm ET).

- “SpongeBob and the Clash of Triton” Scores 5.2 Million Viewers
July 7, 2010 | Monday night’s SpongeBob SquarePants special, “The Clash of Triton,” scored 5.183 million viewers. In the demo ratings, the special scored a 6.7/27 kids 2-11, 3.6/15 teens 12-17, 0.9/3 adults 18-49 and 3.1/6 household rating.
- Cartoon Network Ratings Highlights for June 28 – July 4, 2010
July 7, 2010 | Launching into July 2010, Cartoon Network scored significant Total Day ratings and delivery gains across all kids demos compared to the same 2009 time period: average kids 6-11 ratings (1.5) and delivery (371,000) both improved by 7%, kids 2-11 ratings (1.3) improved by 18% and delivery (545,000) by 16%, and kids 9-14 ratings (1.2) improved by 9% and delivery (282,000) by 2%. In prime time, average kids 2-11 ratings (1.5) grew by 7% and delivery (605,000) by 4%.

And with the top 7 telecasts of the week in Tweens 9-14, Disney Channel ranked No. 1 in Total Day for the 3rd consecutive week (649,000/2.7 rating).
