September 25, 2012 | For the week of September 17, 2012, Disney Channel boasted a record 67th consecutive week as the #1 TV network in Total Day in Kids 6-11 (512,000/2.2 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (445,000/1.9 rating), and was the #1 TV network for the 15th time in the prior 16 weeks in Kids 2-11 (797,000/2.0 rating).
- Nickelodeon Co-Producing New Animated Series “Blake and the Aliens” With Marathon Media
September 25, 2012 | Marathon Media (Totally Spies, Monster Buster Club, etc.), Nickelodeon and French kids TV network Gulli are co-producing a new animated series, Blake and the Aliens.
- Saban Brands Acquires “Digimon” Brand, Including New “Digimon Fusion” Season
September 25, 2012 | Saban Brands has acquired the Digimon
franchise, adding the long-running Japanese anime property to its growing portfolio of
entertainment assets. The acquisition, which encompasses rights to the property
outside of Asia, continues Saban Brands’ dramatic growth since reacquiring the Power
Rangers property and purchasing lifestyle brand Paul Frank in 2010, amongst others.
Saban Brands will work with MarVista Entertainment for distribution of the series
outside of Asia. Japanese animation studio, Toei Animation Co., Ltd. will handle
licensing and distribution of the property in Asia.

September 25, 2012 | The fourth week of September crowned Cartoon Network as basic cable’s #1 network for Early Prime (7-9 p.m.) delivery of boys 2-11 & 6-11, and #1 in Total Day delivery of boys 6-11 & 9-14.
- Boomerang October: “Ben 10,” “Munsters,” “Addams Family,” “Courage” Return
September 25, 2012 | Ben Tennyson is returning to Boomerang. The original Ben 10 series returns to weekdays at 5:30pm and 6pm with a late-night showing at 12:30am. The show originally joined Boomerang in December 2010 and had aired non-stop until this July.

September 24, 2012 | Powered by all-new episodes of “A.N.T. Farm,” “Code 9” and “Fish Hooks,” and a high-performing “Gravity Falls” replay, Disney Channel ranked as Friday’s #1 cable TV network in Prime in Total Viewers (2.48 million), and as TV’s network on a Total Day basis in Kids 2-11 (838,000/2.1 rating), Kids 6-11 (525,000/2.2 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (446,000/1.9 rating).
- “Sofia the First: Once Upon A Princess” TV Movie Premieres Sunday, November 18 on Disney Channel
September 20, 2012 | Disney will introduce its first little girl princess with the debut of "Sofia the First: Once Upon A Princess," an enchanting, music-filled animated Disney Junior television movie for the whole family, SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 18 (7:00-8:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel and THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 22 (9:00-10:00 a.m., ET/PT) on Disney Junior, the 24-hour channel. A "Sofia the First" television series will premiere in early 2013. The movie and series will roll out internationally through mid-2013 on both Disney Channels and Disney Junior channels.
