October 17, 2012 | This Halloween The Hub TV Network gets into the ‘spirit’ with a full lineup of spooky and fun Halloween-themed movies, TV series and specials. The centerpiece of the network’s October 31 programming slate is a special two-hour marathon of the award-winning “R.L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour: The Series” (4-6 p.m. ET). The marathon showcases four of the scariest episodes from all three seasons of the Hub Original Series, starring popular young Hollywood actors including Rico Rodriguez (“Modern Family”) and Dakota Goyo (Real Steel).

Monster" captivated 4.9 million Total Viewers, ranking as Friday's #1 scripted cable TV telecast and the #2 TV Movie of 2012 to date in Kids 2-11 (2.8 million/7.0 rating), Kids 6-11 (2.2 million/9.5 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (1.9 million/7.8 rating).
- “Marvel’s Avengers Assemble” & “Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H.” Set to Premiere Summer 2013 In Marvel Universe on Disney XD
October 13, 2012 | Disney XD will premiere two highly anticipated animated series on the Marvel Universe programming block, "Marvel's Avengers Assemble" and "Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H.," it was announced today by David Levine, Vice President and General Manager, Disney XD Worldwide and at New York Comic Con by Jeph Loeb, Marvel's Head of Television. Produced by Marvel Television, the series feature some of Marvel's most popular characters -- Hulks smashing and Avengers assembling to take down the most infamous villains in the Marvel universe. Filled with action, big adventures and humor, both series are currently in production and slated to premiere in summer 2013 on Marvel Universe on Disney XD.

October 13, 2012 | The premiere of Disney Channel's "Girl Vs. Monster," part of the Disney Channel Original Movie franchise, delivered 4.9 million Total Viewers on Friday (8:00 p.m.). The premiere also delivered 2.8 million Kids 2-11, 2.2 million Kids 6-11 and 1.9 million Tweens, ranking as Friday’s #1 TV telecast across target kid demographics. “Girl Vs. Monster” built each half-hour, peaking with 5.6 million Total Viewers and 3.2 million Kids 2-11. The movie led into the strong debut of the sitcom "Dog With a Blog" (9:40 p.m.), which delivered 4.5 million Total Viewers, 2.6 million Kids 2-11, 2.1 million Kids 6-11 and 1.7 million Tweens. Its regular timeslot premiere is Sunday, November 4 (8:00 p.m.).

- The Hub Renews “Transformers Prime” & “Rescue Bots”; Announces 26-Hour “Prime” Marathon
October 12, 2012 | The Hub TV Network, the fastest growing basic cable network year-to-date, will devote its entire schedule to “The ‘Transformers Prime’ 26-Hour Takeover,” a full-day marathon of the Daytime Emmy® Award-winning CG-animated series “Transformers Prime,” beginning Thursday, November 1, 5:30 p.m. ET. All 52 episodes from the series’ two seasons will run back-to-back leading up to the all-new, season two finale which premieres Friday, November 2, 7 p.m. ET.
- Third Season of “Shake It Up” Premieres This Sunday on Disney Channel
October 10, 2012 | The third season of the dance-driven, buddy comedy "Shake It Up," the #1 live-action TV series in its time period to date among Kids 2-11 and Kids 6-11, will premiere SUNDAY, OCTOBER 14 (9:00-9:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel. The new season finds Rocky and CeCe trying to keep their dance careers alive after the "Shake It Up Chicago" set is ruined; and includes guest stars Tyra Banks, reprising her role as the librarian, Alfonso Ribeiro and Disney XD's Leo Howard; and a special performance by the grand-prize winner of "Make Your Mark: Shake It Up Dance Off 2012," Disney's popular talent competition exclusively for kids and tweens.
