- “Hero Factory” Mini-Series Event Starts Tonight on Nicktoons
September 20, 2010 | The four-part mini-series, Hero Factory, based on the LEGO toy line, premieres tonight at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT) on Nicktoons. The event will air across the next three nights at the same time, with all four episodes re-airing on Friday from 8 – 10 p.m. ET.

September 8, 2010 | Saban Brands LLC has officially re-launched PowerRangers.com. The new site will stream all 145 episodes of the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (pre-Alien Rangers) for the next 145 days. One new episode will launch each day, starting today (September 8).

September 1, 2010 | Nicktoons, Nickelodeon's boy-targeted network, and the National Football League today announced additional NFL players, coaches and personalities who will voice themselves in the new, animated short-form series, Rush Zone: Guardians of the Core, premiering Monday, Sept. 6, at 8:00 p.m. (ET) on Nicktoons.

August 31, 2010 | Nickelodeon closes August as basic cable’s number-one total day network with kids 2-11 and total viewers, while also scoring its most-watched month ever with total viewers. According to Nielsen Media Research (7/26/10-8/29/10), Nickelodeon averaged 2.5 million total viewers and a 3.7/1.3 million kids 2-11 for the month and was up double digits with kids 6-11 (+12%) and tweens 9-14 (+16%).
- August 28: The Last Day of “Power Rangers” and “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” on Broadcast TV
August 27, 2010 | Saturday, August 28, 2010 will mark the last day of Power Rangers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (the 4Kids series) being on broadcast television (ABC and The CW, respectfully). Both series will be heading to Nickelodeon and Nicktoons later this fall.

- Nickelodeon Names Keith Dawkins Senior Vice President, General Manager of Nicktoons and TeenNick
August 4, 2010 | Nickelodeon has named Keith Dawkins Senior Vice President, General Manager of Nicktoons and TeenNick. In his newly expanded role, Dawkins will add oversight of TeenNick, Nickelodeon’s 24-hour network for teens, to his current role as GM of Nicktoons. Dawkins will run the day-to-day operations for the teen network, including the on-air programming, scheduling and marketing, and will work with MTV Networks’ Affiliate Sales organization on the channel’s distribution rollout. The announcement was made today by Sarah Levy, Chief Operating Officer, Nickelodeon/MTVN Kids and Family Group, to whom he will continue to report.

July 25, 2010 | A new limited-edition DVD of the first Power Rangers episode is available to Comic-Con attendees this weekend. The front and back cover of the DVD reveals that Power Rangers will premiere in October on Nicktoons. The new season of Power Rangers will premiere in 2011 on both Nickelodeon and Nicktoons.

July 2, 2010 | Nickelodeon’s Nicktoons channel has released their July schedules. Returning to the line-up is fan-favorite Invader ZIM, airing Mondays-Thursdays from 10-11PM and again from 1-2AM, Fridays from 8-9PM and again from 11PM-12AM, Saturdays from 5-6PM and Sundays from 11AM-12:30PM.
- Nickelodeon Scores Its Most-Watched Second Quarter Ever
June 29, 2010 | Nickelodeon closes the quarter with its biggest second quarter performance ever with total viewers (P2+) in the network’s history and its 61st straight quarter as the top basic cable network with kids 2-11 and total viewers—the longest run of its kind. Nick also claims basic cable’s top spot in total day with kids 2-11 and persons 2+ for 2Q10. According to Nielsen Media Research (3/29/10-6/27/10), Nickelodeon averaged 2.2 million total viewers; a 3.4/1.2 million K2-11; a 3.0/649,000 K6-11; and 2.3/491,000 T9-14 for the quarter.
- The NFL Gets Animated on Nicktoons This Fall
June 28, 2010 | The NFL and Nicktoons will team-up for a series of animated shorts, Rush Zone: Guardians of the Core (22 episodes) that will air during football season, from September and February. The event will conclude with a one-hour TV movie event the day before the Super Bowl.

Nick’s weekly win was driven by a premiere of Big Time Rush (Friday, June 18, 8 p.m. ET/PT), which drew 3.2 million total viewers and averaged a 5.2/1.9 million K2-11, 0.3/1.4 million K6-11, 4.6/1.0 million.
