October 5, 2010 | Nickelodeon’s back-to-back Saturday morning premieres of Planet Sheen (Saturday, Oct. 2, 11 a.m. ET/PT) and T.U.F.F. Puppy (11:30 a.m. ET/PT), topped basic cable in their respective time periods with kids 2-11, kids 6-11, tweens 9-14 and total viewers. The additions to Nick’s hit animation roster, averaged 3.6 million total viewers, boosting Nick’s Saturday morning block by double- and triple-digits over last year.

October 4, 2010 | Nickelodeon, the number-one entertainment brand for kids, today announced a partnership with media content company, Chorion and the publisher, Frederick Warne & Co., owners of the Beatrix Potter™ property, to develop and produce a brand-new animated preschool series based on the characters created by Beatrix Potter in the series The Tales of Peter Rabbit. Slated to air in 2012 on Nickelodeon and Nick Jr., the series will feature many of the beloved and iconic Beatrix Potter characters, including Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny.

September 27, 2010 | Nickelodeon's newest rising teen star Victoria Justice (Victorious) will headline her first-ever television movie, The Boy Who Cried Werewolf, a teen comedy with a sci-fi twist premiering Saturday, Oct. 23, at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT). The original primetime movie follows Jordan Sands (Justice), a shy and unpopular teen who, through an accident, is transformed into a werewolf during a visit to Wolfsberg, Romania where her family has inherited an ancient castle. Brooke Shields (Lipstick Jungle) also stars as stern Romanian housekeeper Madame Varcolac, the longtime proprietor of the castle who is the only one privy to all of its peculiarities.
