- 2012 “HALO Awards” Premiere on Nick@Nite, TeenNick
November 19, 2012 | Ne-Yo, Neon Trees, Nicole Richie, Lucy Hale, Jesse Williams, Heather Morris, Anthony Anderson, James Maslow, Carlos Pena Jr, Victoria Justice and the cast of See Dad Run were among the celebs who took to the Hollywood Palladium stage to join host Nick Cannon in honoring five extraordinary teens for the 2012 TeenNick HALO Awards live event. The fourth annualTeenNick HALO Awards was held today and will air as a 90-minute special premiering Monday, Nov. 19, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT), on Nick at Nite, with an encore Tuesday, Nov. 20, at 10 p.m. (ET) on TeenNick. Conceived, hosted and executive-produced by Cannon, the awards show recognizes and celebrates real teens who are "Helping and Leading Others" (HALO).

September 18, 2012 | Nick at Nite will premiere its brand-new live-action family comedy executive produced by and starring Scott Baio, See Dad Run on Sunday, Oct. 14, at 8p.m. (ET/PT). A multi-camera scripted half-hour, the series follows David Hobbs (Baio) an actor who, after ten years of starring as America's favorite TV dad, becomes a stay-at-home father while his soap star wife (Alanna Ubach, Legally Blonde) makes her return to the limelight. Mark Curry (Hangin' with Mr. Cooper) also stars as David's friend, Marcus. Nick at Nite will air the pilot of See Dad Runon Saturday, Oct. 6 at 9p.m. (ET/PT), with the series airing regularly on Sundays at 8p.m. (ET/PT).

August 3, 2012 | Nick at Nite will premiere its first-ever original live-action family comedy executive produced by and starring Scott Baio, See Dad Run on Saturday, Oct. 6, it was announced today by Marjorie Cohn, President, Original Programming and Development, Nickelodeon Group. A multi-camera scripted half-hour, the series follows David Hobbs (Baio) an actor who, after ten years of starring as America's favorite TV dad, becomes a stay-at-home father to honor the deal he made with his soap star wife (Alanna Ubach, Meet the Fockers) so that she may return to the limelight. Mark Curry (Hangin' with Mr. Cooper) also joins the series as David's friend, Marcus. The series is currently in production on the former Happy Days stage in Los Angeles.

The first season of the 80-episode series, co-produced with Televisa in association with Sony Pictures Television, will air weeknights at 9p.m. through October 2012.

March 27, 2012 | Nickelodeon has ordered 20 episodes of the original scripted comedy series, Daddy's Home (working title), starring Scott Baio, it was announced today by Marjorie Cohn, President, Original Programming and Development, Nickelodeon Group. A multi-camera, half-hour comedy for Nick at Nite, Daddy's Home follows David Hobbs (Baio) an actor who, after ten years of starring as America's favorite TV dad, becomes a stay-at-home father to honor the deal he made with his soap star wife so that she may return to the limelight. The series comes from creators/executive producers Tina Albanese and Patrick Labyorteaux and is helmed by executive producers Nat Bernstein and Mitchel Katlin who will show run. Eric Bischoff and Jason Hervey are also executive producing through their production company Bischoff Hervey Entertainment (BHE), along with Baio. Daddy's Home marks Hervey and Baio's return to scripted comedy, with BHE having previously collaborated on three acclaimed unscripted series including Scott Baio is 45 and Single, Scott Baio is 46 and Pregnant, and Confessions of a Teen Idol. Production on the series is slated to commence later this year in Los Angeles.

January 24, 2012 | Nickelodeon, in partnership with Televisa, has ordered 80 episodes of a groundbreaking, original one-hour U.S. adaptation of the popular Mexican telenovela, Reach for a Star (Alcanzar una Estrella) for Nick at Nite, it was announced today by Cyma Zarghami, President of Viacom's Nickelodeon Group; and Jose Baston President of Television and Content from Televisa. The first telenovela ever adapted for the U.S. audience, Reach for a Star is a single-camera, daily series following a teenage girl whose life changes completely when she becomes a star and wins the love of her teen idol. Reach for a Star will be produced in association with Sony Pictures Television and is set to premiere later this year on Nickelodeon's nighttime block for families--Nick at Nite. Production begins in March in Los Angeles, Calif.

The half-hour series stars Damon Wayans (In Living Color, Major Payne) as a modern-day patriarch who rules his household with a unique brand of wisdom, discipline and humor. Wayans executive produced and created the series with Don Reo (Blossom, Everybody Hates Chris), and also served as a writer on the show. The complete 123-episode library of My Wife and Kids will join Nick at Nite's slate of stellar family comedies, which includes George Lopez, its original time-slot neighbor during the series' initial broadcast run.
- “Back to the Future” and “Turtles Forever” Movies Coming to Nickelodeon and Nick at Nite Later This Month
August 10, 2010 | Nick at Nite will air the Back to the Future film trilogy three nights in a row starting Monday, August 23 at 8PM ET/PT. Nickelodeon will also premiere the movie Turtles Forever on Sunday, August 29 at 1PM ET/PT, marking the first airing of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the network. As you may know, Nickelodeon bought the franchise rights last October (including the 2003 4Kids series).
