November 14, 2012 | For the week of November 5, 2012, Disney Channel was again the go-to network across all TV, stretching its record #1 Total Day TV network streak to 74 consecutive weeks in Kids 6-11 (574,000/2.4 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (484,000/2.0 rating), out-performing Nickelodeon by double digits for the 53rd (+31%, vs. 438,000) and 55th (+52%, vs. 318,000) straight week, respectively.

November 13, 2012 | Disney Channel, the #1 cable channel in Total Viewers, Kids 2-11, Kids 6-11 and Tweens, will present its second annual Fa-la-la-lidays programming event beginning Friday, November 23 with new holiday themed-episodes premiering SUNDAY, DECEMBER 2. This year's event is highlighted by the season four premiere of "Phineas and Ferb" guest starring NHL superstar Luc Robitaille and a special New Years Eve-themed episode of the animated hit series, plus a music-filled crossover episode of "Jessie" and "Austin & Ally," featuring a duet by Jessie (Debby Ryan) and Austin (Ross Lynch), and a Santa-themed episode of the popular comedy "Good Luck Charlie" that includes a duet by Teddy (Bridgit Mendler) and Spencer (Shane Harper) and guest stars Shirley Jones. New holiday-themed episodes of "Dog With A Blog" and "Shake It Up," featuring Zendaya performing a new holiday song, will also be presented along with festive movies including "The Nightmare Before Christmas," "Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause," Disney’s "A Christmas Carol" and the Disney Channel premiere of "Secret of the Wings."

November 6, 2012 | For the week of October 29, 2012, Disney Channel once again emerged as the TV destination for kids and Tweens, extending its record-streak as the #1 Total Day TV network to 73 consecutive weeks in Kids 6-11 (569,000/2.4 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (484,000/2.0 rating), surpassing Nickelodeon by double digits for a respective 52nd (+32%, vs. 430,000) and 54th (+55%, vs. 313,000) consecutive week.

November 3, 2012 | Disney Channel is working on development for a spin-off from the 1990s sitcom Boy Meets World, currently titled Girl Meets World. The series would follow Cory and Topanga’s daughter. The network is trying to get Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel, the original actors for the roles, to return.

Monster” and launch of newest comedy series “Dog With A Blog.” Furthermore, on a weekly basis Disney Channel extended its record-#1-streak to 72 consecutive weeks in Kids 6-11 and Tweens 9-14.

October 22, 2012 | Season four of Disney Junior's hit Emmy-nominated animated series "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" kicks off with the music-filled special "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Mickey and Donald Have A Farm," MONDAY, NOVEMBER 5 on Disney Channel (9:30-10:00 a.m., ET/PT) and Disney Junior (7:00-7:30 p.m., ET/PT). New episodes, including a series of specials built around Minnie Mouse, will continue to roll out through 2013 and beyond.

October 21, 2012 | In a thrilling performance showcasing dance and gymnastic skills, the dance duo DJ’s Mix – 9-year-old Jaycee and 10-year-old Dylynn from Arizona – earned viewers’ votes to win Disney Channel’s "Make Your Mark: Shake It Up Dance Off," the popular talent competition for kids. This marks the second consecutive year of the competition. More than 90,000 online dance video submissions were received with DJ's Mix winning among three finalists. The winning duo will have a dance performance role in an upcoming episode of Disney Channel’s top rated series "Shake It Up."
