December 1, 2010 | The Hub, a cable TV network for kids and their families, will bring viewers a special lineup of holiday programming that the entire family can enjoy Monday, December 20 - Friday, December 31. The schedule also includes a weekend of holiday-themed festivities highlighted by the world premiere of the new Hub Original Series "R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour: The Series," Saturday, December 25 (8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. ET).
- 5-Part “Transformers Prime” Event Airing This Week on The Hub
November 29, 2010 | The Hub will premiere the first five episodes of Transformers Prime this week. The first two episodes previewed last Friday (Nov. 26 from 4 – 5 p.m. ET) before the premiere of G.I. Joe Renegades. The first two parts will re-air, along with the premieres of remaining three parts, this Monday – Friday at 6:30 p.m. ET (3:30 p.m. PT).

Joe: Renegades will premiere Friday, November 26 with two back-to-back episodes at 5 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. ET. The series premiere will follow the one-hour “preview” of Transformer: Prime at 4 p.m. (which we told you about last Thursday).

The series host is Justin Willman star of the cable television show “Cupcake Wars.” The series is produced by Hasbro Studios in association with Natural 9 Entertainment.

The ratings performance reflected The Hub’s Sunday, October 10, “Sneak Peek Sunday” lineup performance versus the performance of Discovery Kids on Sunday, October 3.

September 25, 2010 | We’re just about two weeks away from the launch of The Hub, the Discovery-Hasbro joint venture, which launches on October 10. TVGuide.com has posted the schedule for October 10 and some of October 11, but it’s still not official, as no episode titles are even being listed yet. However, we have now learned that two more series will be joining the network: Men in Black: The Series and Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show.
- “Atomic Betty” Coming to The Hub
September 7, 2010 | Animation Magazine reports that The Hub has acquired all three seasons (78 episodes) of the Canadian animated series, Atomic Betty. The series will launch on October 10, the same day the network launches.
