June 8, 2010 | Cartoon Network’s new hit animated series ADVENTURE TIME (Monday, 8 p.m.) once again posted double-digit ratings and delivery gains among all key kid demos. Compared to the same time period in 2009, kids 6-11 delivery (613,000) grew by 36% and ratings (2.5) by 29%. Kids 2-11 delivery (862,000) grew by 25% and ratings (2.1) by 24%, and kids 9-14 delivery (426,000) grew by 27% and ratings (1.7) grew by 21%. Boys demos also showed significant gains with boys 6-11 delivery (431,000) up by 21%, boys 2-11 delivery (570,000) up by 12% and boys 9-14 delivery (319,000) up by 13%.

June 2, 2010 | Compared to May 2009, Cartoon Network earned solid double-digit prime time ratings and delivery gains across May 2010, between 11%-20%. Overall, monthly kids 6-11 ratings (2.0) increased by 11% and delivery (493,000) by 14%, kids 2-11 ratings (1.8) increased by 20% and delivery (740,000) increased by 19%, and kids 9-14 ratings (1.5) increased by 15% and delivery (354,000) increased by 12%. In Total Day, Cartoon Network improved ratings and delivery with kids 6-11, with average delivery (314,000) ahead by 5% and ratings (1.3) by 8%. Kids 2-11 also saw ratings and delivery gains, with average delivery (518,000) ahead by 10% and ratings (1.3) by 8%.
- New “ThunderCats” Series Coming to Cartoon Network in 2011
June 2, 2010 | Warner Bros. Animation (WBA) has begun production on “ThunderCats,” an all-new animated series for Cartoon Network, based upon the iconic 1980s action classic. “ThunderCats” is the newest series from WBA, joining “Batman: The Brave and the Bold,” which was recently renewed for a third season, and the following forthcoming programs: “The Looney Tunes Show,” “MAD,” “Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated” and “Young Justice.” The announcement was made today by Sam Register, Executive Vice President, Creative Affairs, Warner Bros. Animation.
- New Cartoon Network Logo Launches Today
May 29, 2010 | Cartoon Network has launched a new logo both on-air and online this morning. The new logo launches as part of the network’s Memorial Day Weekend programming, which includes sneak peeks of the new series Unnatural History (premiering Sunday, June 13 at 8 p.m. ET/PT).
- Cartoon Network Announces Anti-Bullying Campaign
May 26, 2010 | Cartoon Network will leverage its influence among kids this fall with a brand new campaign aimed at educating and empowering bystanders to take action to reduce/prevent bullying. The on-air and online initiative will launch in October 2010 to coordinate with the fifth annual National Bullying Prevention Awareness Week (Oct. 4 -10), sponsored by the National Center for Bullying Prevention. Cartoon Network will create a new series of PSAs that will premiere on Friday, Oct. 1, at 9 a.m. directing viewers to key online resources at CartoonNetwork.com developed in coordination with its recently established Bullying Prevention Advisory Board. CNN, sister station to Cartoon Network within Turner Broadcasting System, Inc., also will present a series of editorial features on bullying to provide better understanding and response options for victims, bystanders and adults.
- Friday 5/21 Cable Ratings: Repeat of “Big Time Rush” Dominates New “Ben 10″ and “Generator Rex”
May 24, 2010 | Friday night’s repeat of Big Time Rush on Nickelodeon (8pm) out delivered new episodes of Ben 10 and Generator Rex on Cartoon Network (8-9pm) in households, total viewers, kids 2-11 and teens 12-17. All three did tie in adults 18-49, but that’s not the demo of these shows.
- Cartoon Network Premieres “Total Drama World Tour” on Monday, June 21
May 24, 2010 | The drama started at Camp Wawanakwa with Total Drama Island, went Hollywood for Total Drama Action, and now travels the globe with the all-new Total Drama World Tour, premiering Monday, June 21 at 9 p.m. (ET, PT) on Cartoon Network. Seventeen contestants—including some favorites from the past and some new faces—will duke it out on an international playing field for a grand prize of $1 million dollars. Host Chris McLean and his cohort Chef are back with Total Drama’s signature painful and embarrassing challenges, this time taking advantage of the world’s most famous landmarks and natural wonders.

May 18, 2010 | Monday's sorta-new (not really, since both parts have aired before) Adventure Time scored 1.9 million viewers and a 2.8 kids 2-11 rating. Pretty good for (basically) a repeat!

May 18, 2010 | For the sixth straight week, Cartoon Network enjoyed solid double-digit ratings and delivery gains—ranging between 12%-19%—across all kids demos in prime time. Compared to the same time period in 2009, average kids 6-11 prime time delivery (482,000) grew by 13% and ratings (2.0) grew by 18%; kids 2-11 prime time delivery (718,000) grew by 19% and ratings (1.7) by 13%; and kids 9-14 prime time delivery (361,000) grew by 12% and ratings (1.5) by 15%.
