September 14, 2010 | The Monday night juggernaut of animated comedies (7-10 p.m.) continue to generate huge ratings and delivery gains for Cartoon Network compared to the same time period last year. Overall kids 6-11 delivery (710,000) increased by 65% and ratings (2.9) by 61%; kids 2-11 delivery (973,000) increased by 60% and ratings (2.3) by53%; and kids 9-14 delivery (519,000) increased by 51% and ratings (2.1) by 50%.

September 8, 2010 | Cartoon Network began September ’10 by scoring double-digit ratings and delivery gains among kids 2-11 in both Prime Time and Total Day. Compared to the same time period last year, prime time delivery among kids 2-11 (795,000) increased by 13% and ratings (1.9) by 12%. In total day, weekly average kids 2-11 delivery (584,000) increased by 19% and ratings (1.4) by 17%. Total day delivery among kids 6-11 (358,000) also grew by 4% vs. the 2009 time period.

- Tuesday 8/31 Cable Ratings: “Unnatural History” Hits Series High, “Flapjack” Finale Under 1 Million Viewers
September 1, 2010 | A new Unnatural History on Cartoon Network last night scored 1.4 million viewers and a 1.9/7 kids 2-11 demo rating. That was up from the last report we got for the August 17 episode (1.2 million viewers and a 1.5/5 kids 2-11 demo). However, the unadvertised series finale of The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack scored under 1 million viewers and a 1.3/6 kids 2-11 demo rating.
- Monday 8/30 Cable Ratings: “Adventure Time” Double Repeats Score Well, “Total Drama” Drops After
August 31, 2010 | Two repeats of Adventure Time scored between 1.8 and 1.9 million viewers last night on Cartoon Network, while Total Drama World Tour dropped off afterwards with 1.5 million viewers.
- Sunday 8/29 Cable Ratings: “Good Luck Charlie” Leads Over “Sonny” and “JONAS” + “Scooby-Doo!” Repeat Scores 1.8 Million
August 31, 2010 | A new episode Good Luck Charlie scored higher than new episodes of Sonny With A Chance and JONAS L.A. on Disney Channel Sunday night. Also, a repeat of Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated on Cartoon Network scored 1.8 million viewers at 7 p.m. ET/PT.

August 31, 2010 | Cartoon Network scored solid double-digit prime time delivery and ratings growth among kids 2-11 across the month of August, according to initial data from Nielsen Media Research. Versus the same 2009 time period, the monthly average kids 2-11 delivery (762,000) grew by 22% and ratings (1.9) by 27%. Also in prime time, kids 6-11 delivery (484,000) grew by 6% while ratings (2.0) increased by 5%. In Total Day, average monthly kids 2-11 delivery (640,000) improved by 9% and ratings (1.6) grew by 14%.
- Genndy Tartakovsky’s New Series “Sym-Bionic Titan” Premieres September 17 on Cartoon Network
August 27, 2010 | Sym-Bionic Titan, a new original animated series from acclaimed animation creator/director Genndy Tartakovsky (Dexter's Laboratory and Samurai Jack) crash-lands on Cartoon Network Friday, September 17 at 8 p.m. (ET/PT). Sym-Bionic Titan joins an action-packed Friday night line-up that includes network hits Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Generator Rex, and Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
- Cartoon Network Launches New Series “Regular Show” and “MAD” on September 6
August 27, 2010 | Cartoon Network will premiere two new animated series this Labor Day, September 6. Regular Show, a Cartoon Network Studios production, and MAD, from Warner Bros. Animation, will join Adventure Time, Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated, Johnny Test and Total Drama World Tour on the network’s Monday night premiere block that runs from 7 – 9:30 p.m. ET/PT.

August 24, 2010 | Cartoon Network attracted solid double-digit gains among kids 2-11 in both Prime Time and Total Day across the 4th week of August. Compared to the same week in 2009, Total Day delivery among kids 2-11 (657,000) and ratings (1.6) both grew by 14%. In Prime Time, weekly average kids 2-11 delivery (754,000) increased by 18% and ratings (1.8) by 13%. Delivery among kids 6-11 (410,000) also grew in Total Day by 2% and in Prime Time (474,000) by 3%.
- “Johnny Test” Renewed for Fifth Season
August 24, 2010 | Cookie Jar Entertainment has renewed the animated series Johnny Test for a fifth season, bringing the show to a total of 92 episodes. Created by Scott Fellows (Big Time Rush, Ned’s Declassified), the series airs on TELETOON in Canada and Cartoon Network in the United States.
- Friday 8/20 Cable Ratings: “Big Time Rush” Season Finale Falls Behind New “Suite Life” and “Wizards”
August 23, 2010 | The premiere of Big Time Rush’s one-hour finale, “Big Time Concert,” scored 3.342 million viewers, coming in behind new episodes of The Suite Life on Deck (4.026 million) and Wizards of Waverly Place (3.746 million) in total viewers. With kids 2-11, Big Time Rush was first with a 4.7/19, followed by Suite Life with a 4.6/20 and Wizards with 4.3/17. The teens 12-17 demo had Suite Life first (3.4/18), Wizards second (3.3/16) and Big Time Rush third (2.6/12).
- New “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” Season 3 Trailer
August 19, 2010 | Lucasfilm has provided Nick and More! with a new three-minute preview clip for the third season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The new season premieres Friday, September 17 at 9PM ET/PT on Cartoon Network.
- Cartoon Network Launches Apparel Line for “Generator Rex” in Spring 2011
August 18, 2010 | Cartoon Network Enterprises (CNE), the global licensing and merchandising arm of the television network, announced today a partnership with Hybrid Apparel, a premiere apparel company, to create a line of youth apparel based on the popular action-adventure series, Generator Rex. With product launching in the U.S. in spring 2011 across all tiers of retailers, the apparel line will feature a range of tops for boys ages 4-20 including long and short-sleeved t-shirts, 2-fers, fleece, and sweatshirts. The announcement was made today as part of the MAGIC Marketplace convention in Las Vegas.

Compared to the same week in 2009, Total Day delivery among kids 2-11 (667,000) grew by 24% and ratings (1.6) by 23%. In Prime Time, weekly average kids 2-11 delivery (703,000) increased by 7% and ratings (1.7) by 6%.
- Cartoon Network Names Multi-Platform Bullying Prevention Campaign STOP BULLYING: SPEAK UP
August 11, 2010 | Cartoon Network, a division of Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. (TBS, Inc.), announced today further details of its multi-platform Bullying Prevention Campaign at the National Bullying Prevention Summit in Washington, DC. Speaking to an audience comprised of government officials, business leaders and leading educators of bullying prevention, Cartoon Network’s President and Chief Operations Officer Stuart Snyder unveiled the official title of the CAMPAIGN—STOP BULLYING: SPEAK UP—which will serve to educate and empower young bystanders to take action to reduce/prevent bullying. Bystanders represent the 75-85% of students in schools that witness incidents of bullying every year, whether on the playground, in the classroom, on the bus, on social media websites, or cell phones. The STOP BULLYING: SPEAK UP on-air and online CAMPAIGN will launch in October to coordinate with the fifth annual National Bullying Prevention Awareness Month, sponsored by the National Center for Bullying Prevention.
