- Cartoon Network Announces Assortment of Consumer Products for “Adventure Time”
February 14, 2011 | What time is it? Time for an awesome assortment of consumer products for the hit animated comedy series, Adventure Time with Finn & Jake! Cartoon Network Enterprises (CNE), the global licensing and merchandising arm of the network, today announced an algebraic line up of apparel and accessories partners that will feature the best buds Jake and Finn, the Ice King, Princess Bubblegum and other loveable characters from creator Pendelton Ward in a range of categories across retail this spring. Building on its smash hit ratings success and the ubiquitous appeal of the brand for audiences of all ages, CNE has signed seven awesome soft lines partners to date, many of whom will showcase Adventure Time products at the MAGIC Marketplace trade event on February 14 in Las Vegas.

February 8, 2011 | For the first week of February 2011, Cartoon Network earned solid delivery gains vs. the same week last year and the previous four weeks, particularly among older kids 6-11 and 9-14. Compared to the 2010 time period, average early evening prime time kids 6-11 delivery (603,000) grew by 3% and kids 9-14 delivery (446,000) by 18%; vs. the prior four weeks, kids 6-11 delivery increased by 12%, kids 2-11 delivery (883,000) by 8% and kids 9-14 delivery by 15%. In Total Day, average kids 6-11 delivery (359,000) grew by 5% and kids 9-14 delivery (252,000) by 8%; vs. the prior four weeks, kids 6-11 delivery increased by 11%, kids 2-11 delivery (559,000) by 9% and kids 9-14 delivery by 7%.

February 4, 2011 | Cartoon Network will premiere the final episode of Pokémon: DP Sinnoh League Victors (“Memories are Made of Bliss!”) tomorrow morning at a new time of 9/8c. The same night, the 13th movie, Pokémon: Zoroark - Master of Illusions, will premiere at 7/6c.

February 1, 2011 | Cartoon Network’s January 2011 performance out-paced its December 2010 performance across all kids demos in early evening prime time: average kids 6-11 delivery (515,000) and kids 2-11 delivery (782,000) both increased by 1%, while average kids 9-14 delivery (374,000) increased by 4%. Ratings across the board remained unchanged. The network’s total day performance also saw month over month gains, with average kids 6-11 delivery (328,000) gains of 3%, kids 2-11 delivery (514,000) gains of 1% and kids 9-14 delivery (240,000) gains of9%. Total day ratings for kids 6-11 and kids 2-11 remained unchanged, while kids 9-14 ratings (1.0) grew by 11%.

The animated action-adventure block earned 29% delivery gains among kids 9-14 (468,000) and 27% ratings gains (1.9). Across the block, boys 9-14 delivery (391,000) surged by 44% and ratings (3.1) by 41%, while boys 6-11 delivery (464,000) grew by 4% and ratings (3.7) by 6%.
