- Cartoon Network Brings Back Classics With “Cartoon Planet” Starting Friday
March 27, 2012 | Cartoon Network is jumping on the nostalgia train! Starting this Friday, March 30, Cartoon Planet – hosted by Brak and Zorak – is returning to Cartoon Network. The hour-long block will feature older to more recent cartoons from the network including Foster’s Home, Dexter’s Lab, Johnny Bravo, Flapjack, Chowder, etc.

Versus March last year, prime delivery grew by strong double digits across the board: average kids 6-11 (665,000) grew by 29%, kids 2-11 (935,000) by 25% and kids 9-14 (516,000) by 29%. Average Total Day delivery saw double-digit increases across all kid demos, between 16% - 24% in March.

March 20, 2012 | For three straight weeks this month, Cartoon Network claimed television’s #1 network for the week among boys (2-11, 6-11, 9-14) in Early Evening Prime (7-9 p.m.), charting remarkable double-digit delivery growth across all kids demos in both Prime and Total Day ranging between 10% and 22%. In Prime (7-9 p.m.), average kids 2-11 delivery (810,000) grew by 13%, kids 6-11 (595,000) by 22% and kids 9-14 (473,000) by 18%. In Total Day, average kids 2-11 (536,000) grew by 10%, kids 6-11 (351,000) by 15% and kids 9-14 (283,000) by 16%.

March 12, 2012 | Adventure Time, Cartoon Network’s hit animated comedy series returns with its fourth season on Monday, April 2, at 7:30 p.m. (ET/PT). Recently nominated for its second Primetime Emmy® Award for Outstanding Short-format Animated Program as well as an Annie Award for Best Animated Television Production for Children, Adventure Time has become a genuine ratings and pop culture phenomenon since its April 2010 debut. Most recently season three of the series earned the distinction of being the #1 program on Monday nights (7-9 p.m.) on all of television with kids 2-11, according to Nielsen Media Research.

In Total Day, average kids 2-11 (535,000) grew by 10%, kids 6-11 (341,000) by 13% and kids 9-14 (271,000) by 19%.
