Warner Bros. immortal LOONEY TUNES - featuring legendary icons Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Elmer Fudd, Roadrunner & Wile E. Coyote and others - will begin airing as a one-hour block on Saturday and Sunday mornings at 7 a.m. (ET) starting Oct. 5.

Two full hours of holiday programming will entertain families every Saturday and Sunday from 9-11 a.m. (ET), culminating in an 18-hour marathon of cheer beginning at 6 a.m. (ET) on Christmas Day.

However, the weekend line-up wasn’t fully known, since this weekend and next weekend are special events for the Olympics (with Laff-A-Lympics, Wacky Races and The Super Globetrotters airing). But starting August 11, the regular weekend line-up takes shake… and is quite different than before, with the addition of Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends as well!

On Wednesday, Nov. 23 at 4 p.m. (ET) and Thursday, Nov. 24, at 9:30 p.m. (ET), Boomerang will present for the first time the 1970 animated fable from Theodore Geisel, a.k.a. “Dr. Seuss,” which underscores the universal message, “a person’s a person no matter how small.” Families will be able to enjoy this timeless fantasy alongside another animated holiday classic, The Thanksgiving That Almost Wasn’t (1972), which will air on Nov. 23 at 4:30 p.m., and Nov. 24 at 9 p.m.

In observance of Earth Day, Boomerang, Turner Broadcasting System's commercial-free home of classic animation, called upon the Captain Planet Foundation to hand-pick 24 episodes to be presented in a 12-hour Captain Planet marathon on Friday, April 22. The Earth Day celebration will begin at 8 a.m. (ET) with the pilot episode of the series, "A Hero for Earth."
