After showing last and first episodes on New Year’s Eve and Day, Boomerang is getting a new line-up starting January 2, 2024.

For weekdays, it’ll be a return to a very old schedule tactic – repeating the same line-up more than once. The first nine hours from 6am-3pm will repeat from 3pm-midnight. That type of schedule pattern is similar to how Boomerang used to be programmed before January 2005. From the channel’s launch in April 2000 through December 2004, the schedule used to run in eight-hour blocks, repeated three times per day.

Overnights and weekends, however, are going to be different. Overnights will feature a movie at midnight, then two rotating blocks of shows from 2-4am and 4-6am. Weekends have a little more variety during the day, airing shows not seen on weekdays.
