Shaquille O'NealThe 1990s classic Nickelodeon Sports Theater with Shaquille O’Neal, which featured different hour-long sports-themed stories, will air again for the first time in over a decade – starting tonight on Nicktoons’ NickSports block.

The episode “Give and Go” (which originally aired July 11, 1998) will air tonight at 9 p.m. ET on Nicktoons. Nickelodeon’s description for the episode follows:

“Give and Go” depicts the challenges faced by 15-year-old Felipe Galan after moving from his home in Mexico to the United States to reunite with his mother. As Felipe struggles to master a new language and learn the basics of American popular culture, he has great difficulty relating to his sarcastic fellow classmates. As a result, Felipe often finds himself alone. Lonely and frustrated with his new living arrangement, he seeks solace by recounting happier days through poignant letters to his grandfather back in Mexico. One of the things he misses most is playing on the local soccer team. But Felipe’s talent for the sport is soon spotted by his new gym teacher, who encourages him to join the school team. After an initial clash in playing styles, he and his classmates discover that the language of team sports is universal.

The episode “Broken Record” is schedule to air next Wednesday, November 12 also at 9 p.m. ET.

Nicktoons’ NickSports block launched in September and has included shows like NFL Rush Zone, Wild Grinders, magazine series NFL RUSH, new short-series addition WWE Slam City as well as movies such as Cool Runnings, Airborne and Speed Racer.
