Disney Channel: Total Day and Prime Highlights

For the week of February 10, 2014, powered by Sunday’s finale ofGood Luck Charlie” and an all-new “I Didn’t Do It,Disney Channel extended its streak as TV’s #1 Total Day network to 140-consecutive weeks among both Kids 6-11 (519,000/2.2 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (466,000/1.9 rating) – dates back to week of 6/13/11 – exceeding Nickelodeon by double digits in the target youth demos.

  • Disney Channel surpassed Nickelodeon by at least double digits for 119-straight weeks in Kids 6-11 (+25% – 519,000 vs. 416,000) and for 121-consecutive weeks in Tweens 9-14 (+82% – 466,000 vs. 256,000) – dates back to week of 11/7/11 and 10/24/11, respectively.

In Prime, Disney Channel ranked as cable TV’s #1 network for the 457th-consecutive week among Kids 6-11 (860,000/3.6 rating – 8+ years) and 193rd-straight week among Tweens 9-14 (775,000/3.2 rating – 3+ years).

  • The finale of “Good Luck Charlie” (Sun., 8:00 – 9:00 p.m.) soared to over 1-year-highs in Kids 2-11 (2.1 million/5.2 rating), Kids 6-11 (1.7 million/7.1 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (1.8 million/7.6 rating) – ranking as the week’s #1 TV telecast across the major youth demos  – and hit an over-1-year-high in Total Viewers (4.6 million).

24-hour Disney Junior channel ranked as TV’s #1 preschool-dedicated Total Day network for the 46th-consecutive week among Total Viewers (421,000), Kids 2-5 (205,000/1.3 rating) and Boys 2-5 (105,000/1.3 rating) – each week since reporting public ratings on 4/1/13 for the 29th in Girls 2-5 (100,000/1.3 rating) and 34th in Women 18-49 (83,000).

  • Disney Junior channel delivered the week’s Top 3 series across preschool-devoted networks:

  • Disney Junior channel towered over Nick Jr. for the 46th-consecutive week in Kids 2-5 (+61% – 205,000 vs. 127,000) and Boys 2-5 (+94% – 105,000 vs. 54,000), 29th in Girls 2-5 (+37% – 100,000 vs. 73,000), 34th in Women 18-49 (+41% – 83,000 vs. 59,000) and for the 45th time in the previous 46 weeks in Total Viewers (+51% – 421,000 vs. 279,000 – Nick Jr. tied for #1 during week of 6/3/13).
  • Disney Junior channel surpassed Sprout by triple digits for the 46th-consecutive week across target measures: Total Viewers (+141% – 421,000 vs. 175,000), Kids 2-5 (+181% – 205,000 vs. 73,000), Girls 2-5 (+186% – 100,000 vs. 35,000), Boys 2-5 (+176% – 105,000 vs. 38,000) and Women 18-49 (+108% – 83,000 vs. 40,000).
