- ‘Tis the Season for Movies on Disney Channel
December 12, 2013 | Starting tomorrow, Disney Channel will expand their movie offerings beyond their original plan. Classics like the 1950 Cinderella and the 1951 Alice in Wonderland join more modern films like Tarzan and Hercules. Of course, Disney wouldn't be Disney if they didn't have the Pixar flixs in the mix. The Toy Story movies, Cars movies, Ratatouille, Monsters, Inc., A Bug's Life, Up and WALL-E will air over the next few weeks as well.
- Disney Channel Begins Casting for 2015 Original Movie “Descendants”
December 12, 2013 | Casting is underway for Disney's "Descendants," a contemporary live-action adventure-comedy that taps into Disney's heritage characters – notably its most evil villains – to introduce their progeny, a modern day generation of teenagers who ultimately question the evil that's always been in their hearts. Disney's "Descendants" is scheduled to begin production next spring for a 2015 premiere on Disney Channel.
- Nicktoons Schedules Week of Premires for Christmas
December 12, 2013 | The week of Christmas (December 23 – 27), Nicktoons has scheduled five premieres for five different series. New episodes of Nicktoons series Wild Grinders, along with Nickelodeon cast-offs Penguins of Madagascar, Rocket Monkeys, Robot and Monster and T.U.F.F. Puppy are scheduled to premiere.
- New Animated Series “Numb Chucks” Premieres January 7 on YTV
December 11, 2013 | Corus Entertainment’s YTV is premiering Numb Chucks, a hilarious new animated series about two well-intentioned, yet misguided woodchucks, on Tuesday, January 7, at 4:30 p.m. ET/PT following SpongeBob SquarePants. The 26 x half hour series stars Dilweed and Fungus, two woodchucks with big hearts who are obsessed with using their bungling kung-fu skills to protect the lives of the citizens in their town of Ding-a-Ling Springs. - Cartoon Network Announces 4th Annual “Hall of Game Awards” Nominees
December 11, 2013 | Cartoon Network announced today the ten voting categories and nominees for the fourth annual Hall of Game sports awards show, which returns in February 2014. Cartoon Network Hall of Game Awards will feature icons from television, film, music and sports, as kids experience an evening of hilarity and fun at the most raucous and outrageous sports awards show.
