(Toronto, Ontario, December 10, 2013) – What would you do if you suddenly started receiving strange and cryptic secret packages from an evil alien planet? For Dan Zembrosky and his two best friends, the answer is: save the world, of course. TELETOON Original Production Packages from Planet X makes its Canadian debut on Thursday, January 16 at 6:30 p.m. ET/PT as part of the Can’t Miss Thursdays programming block.
Packages from Planet X provides a glimpse into the fast-paced and action-packed trials and tribulations of Dan, Troll and Amanda in the odd town of Iron Bay. The series chronicles the misadventures of this best friend trio as they experience the crazy and unexpected side effects of the mysterious alien packages that are delivered from Planet X, all while trying to keep them out of the hands of the evil Dr. Corvis Copernicus, an evil alien agent from Planet X, who wants to use them to lay the foundation for an eventual alien invasion.
“Packages from Planet X is a high-energy, hilarious show that will make a great addition to TELETOON’s Can’t Miss Thursdays comedy-filled lineup,” said Alan Gregg, Director, Original Content, TELETOON Canada Inc. “Each episode features side-splitting adventure that will keep viewers wanting more.”
Produced for TELETOON by DHX Media in association with American Greetings, Packages from Planet X is created by Jeff Harter. Season 1 consists of 26 11-minute episodes.
New episodes of Packages from Planet X will continue to air every Thursday at 6:30 p.m. ET/PT throughout the winter season as part of TELETOON’s Can’t Miss Thursdays lineup.
