Disney’s “Sofia the First: The Floating Palace” Soars to 7.6 Million Total Viewers in Live + 7; ‘Sofia’ Holds Top 2 Telecasts in Cable TV History With Kids  2-5

Based on a full week of viewing, Disney Junior’s “Sofia the First: The Floating Palace” on Disney Channel became the #2 telecast in cable TV history among Kids 2-5 (2.63 million/16.9 rating) and Girls 2-5 (1.85 million/24.3 rating), and the #2 preschool cable TV telecast ever in Total Viewers (7.62 million), Adults 18-49 (2.15 million/1.7 rating) and Women 18-49 (1.43 million/2.2 rating), behind only last year’s, “Sofia the First” Once Upon a Princess.”

  • “Sofia the First: The Floating Palace” more than doubled in Live + 7 ratings with Kids 2-5 (+139% – 2.63 million vs. 1.10 million) and Girls 2-5 (+162% – 1.85 million vs. 706,000), and surged by double digits in Total Viewers (+61% – 7.62 million vs. 4.72 million), Adults 18-49 (+54% – 2.15 million vs. 1.40 million)  and Women 18-49 (+57% – 1.43 million vs. 911,000).
