Jinxed Premiere Draws 3.2M Total Viewers, Posts Triple-Digit Gains with Kid and Tween Demos
NEW YORK – Dec. 4, 2013 – Nickelodeon closed the week (11/25/13-12/1/13) with double-digit year over year gains with Kids 2-11 (3.2/1.0M, +14%), Kids 6-11 (2.8/552K, +17%) and Tweens 9-14 (1.9/373K, +19%) and averaged 1.9M total viewers for the week.
The network’s solid weekly ratings performance was driven by SpongeBob SquarePants, which ranks as the week’s top animated series with Kids 2-11 (5.5/1.8M) and the networks hit preschool lineup of Paw Patrol (8.6/1.1M), Bubble Guppies (7.9/992K) , Dora the Explorer (7.4/926K) and Team Umizoomi (6.8/847K), which are the top four series for the week with Kids 2-5, respectively.
Additionally, Nickelodeon’s brand-new original TV movie, Jinxed, drew 3.2M total viewers for its Friday primetime premiere (Nov. 29, 7 p.m. ET/PT), posting triple-digit year over year gains with Kids 2-11 (6.0/1.9M, +100%), Kids 6-11 (7.8/1.5M, +111%) and Tweens 9-14 (+115%).
