Cartoon Network Updates: “Ben 10,” “Johnny Test” Back; “Ed, Edd ‘n Eddy” Gone

Ben 10

In what seems likes Cartoon Network’s ever rotating weekly line-up, where more-or-less the same chairs are just being moved around, one series returns after a short break, another gets its additional airings back and the third is let go.

Starting tomorrow (July 29), the original Ben 10 series returns to weekdays. This time airing Monday-Friday mornings at 7am, as it used to just run Tuesday-Thursday (Omniverse had Mondays and Fridays). This replaces Grojband, which took over the timeslot two weeks ago. Needless to say, Grojband’s ratings didn’t match the ones Ben 10 was pulling, thus this change.

Johnny Test is also getting its extra spots back, which went to Ed, Edd ‘n Eddy two weeks ago. Triple E was airing Tuesdays from 9:30-11am and Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3-4pm. All of those spots originally belonged to Johnny Test, which is now taking them back. Like Grojband’s 7am slot, the Ed-boys found it difficult to pick up ratings steam.
