Cartoon Network Schedule Changes Starting Monday
Cartoon Network is bringing back the old faithful Great Dane series, What’s New Scooby-Doo?, starting Monday. The series, which has been off and on (mostly on) the network since 2003 will air weekdays at 6:30am, replacing Hero: 108 – which is off the line-up.
Also off the line-up are Scaredy Squirrel and Almost Naked Animals. Both were airing weekdays from 1:30-2:30pm and will be replaced with a rotating hour of various series. Notably, Cartoon Planet (the network’s hour-long Friday block that features classic, and not so classic, animated series) will get its first non-Friday spot on Thursday at 1:30pm. No indication if this will be a regular thing, but the block will also remain on Friday at 8pm as well.
Also of note, Total Drama World Tour will wrap up its repeat cycle on Wednesday. Taking its place will be the original Total Drama Island starting on Thursday and airing weekdays from 4-5pm.
