Vortexx Adds “Spectacular Spider-Man,” “Digimon Fusion” and “Bolts & Blip” This Fall

The Spectacular Spider-Man

In an advertisement on today’s edition of Cynopsis Kids, Vortexx announced it will be adding repeats of The Spectacular Spider-Man as well as premieres of Digimon Fusion and a new series Bolts & Blip this fall.

The 26 episode Spectacular Spider-Man series originally premiered on The CW’s Kids’ WB block in spring 2008 for 13 episodes before moving to Disney XD in 2009 for its second and final season. Its premiere on Vortexx will be a return to the same channel it originally premiered.

Vortexx, which is owned and operated by Saban Brands, will also air new episodes of Digimon Fusion, which is also scheduled to run on Nickelodeon. Saban re-acquired the franchise (which it originally brought to America in 1999) last year.

Bolts & Blip is a CGI animated series that currently airs on 3net, a 3-D network run by Discovery Communications, Sony and IMAX. Check out the show site on 3net.com.

The Vortexx block airs Saturday mornings from 7 a.m. – noon (ET, check local listings) on The CW Network.
