For the week of April 8, 2013, powered by ‘Toy Story Weekend,’ Disney Channel made another clean sweep in Total Day, standing as cable TV’s #1 network in Total Viewers (1.69 million) and TV’s #1 network in Kids 2-11 (894,000/2.3 rating) for the second consecutive week, and extending its dominance to 96 straight weeks in Kids 6-11 (563,000/2.4 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (491,000/2.1 rating).
- Disney Channel towered over Nickelodeon by double to triple digits for the 75th consecutive week in Kids 6-11 (+48% – 563,000 vs. 380,000) and for the 77th straight week in Tweens 9-14 (+100% – 491,000 vs. 245,000).
In Prime, Disney Channel was cable TV’s #1 network in Total Viewers (2.60 million), surpassing #2 USA by a considerable 20% (vs. 2.16 million), and in target kids ranked #1 for the 415th consecutive week in Kids 6-11 (946,000/4.0 rating – nearly 8 years) and for 151 straight weeks in Tweens 9-14 (824,000/3.5 rating – nearly 3 years).

The Disney Junior block on Disney Channel delivered the week’s Top 2 preschool cable TV telecasts in Kids 2-5 with an all-new “Sofia the First” and “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.”

In its second week of public ratings, Disney Junior Channel ranked as cable TV’s #1 preschool network in Total Day for the second week in a row in Total Viewers (381,000) and Women 18-49 (81,000), and across target preschoolers Kids 2-5 (191,000/1.2 rating), Girls 2-5 (88,000/1.1 rating) and Boys 2-5 (102,000/1.3 rating).
- Disney Junior Channel posted solid gains week to week, including by 6% in Total Viewers (381,000 vs. 358,000), by 12% in Kids 2-5 (191,000 vs. 171,000) and by 23% in Boys 2-5 (102,000 vs. 83,000).
- Disney Junior Channel increased its advantage over Nick Jr. by significant margins week to week, outdelivering by 21% in Total Viewers (381,000 vs. 314,000), by 23% in Kids 2-5 (191,000 vs. 155,000) and by 40% in Boys 2-5 (102,000 vs. 73,000), despite being in 23 million fewer homes.
- Disney Junior Channel outdelivered Sprout by triple digits for the second week running across the board: by 157% in Total Viewers (381,000 vs. 148,000), by 203% in Kids 2-5 (191,000 vs. 63,000), by 144% in Girls 2-5 (88,000 vs. 36,000), by 278% in Boys 2-5 (102,000 vs. 27,000) and by 131% in Women 18-49 (81,000 vs. 35,000).
- “Sofia the First” stood as the week’s #1 cable TV series on mid-size preschool networks in Total Viewers (645,000), Kids 2-5 (304,000/1.9 rating), Boys 2-5 (156,000/1.9 rating) and Women 18-49 (148,000).
- Versus mid-size preschool cable TV networks, Disney Junior Channel held the Top 3 telecasts in Kids 2-5 and Boys 2-5, Top 40 in Women 18-49 (Top 5 below) and Top 29 in Total Viewers (Top 5 below).
