Nick Updates: New “OddParents” Sunday; “Marvin,” “Supah” & “Wendell” Premieres Moved; Weekday Changes

Fairly OddPuppy

Nickelodeon has made changes to their schedule for the rest of this week. A new episode of The Fairly OddParents has been added to Sunday, the Saturday night premieres have been shuffled again and two weekday changes have been made.

First, a new episode of The Fairly OddParents is scheduled to air Sunday at 7 p.m. (ET/PT) part of a “Breakin’ Da Rules” marathon that starts at 2 p.m. with movies and specials like “Channel Chasers” and “Fairly Idol.” The new episode is “Dinkelscouts / I Dream of Cosmo” and is the second new episode of the show’s ninth season.

Next, Nick has once again made changes to their Saturday night premieres block. They’ve cut the 8 p.m. hour and are airing a SpongeBob special (“Truth or Square”) this week. A new episode of Marvin Marvin will follow at 9 p.m. followed by a repeat of Wendell and Vinnie. Then, oddly, a new episode of Supah Ninjas has been pushed into Nick@Nite – airing at 10 p.m. (again ET/PT for all these times). All of Nick’s Saturday night premieres have been plagued by low ratings the past few weeks.

Wendell and Vinnie, however, is moving to Sunday night. The show which was originally intended to have premieres on Nick@Nite will indeed do so now. A new episode will air at 8:30 p.m. following a new See Dad Run (which moved up to 8 p.m. last week).

Nick has also removed Sunday’s new Winx Club episode.

Lastly, two changes to weekdays. Rocket Monkeys is gone as of this past Monday, replaced with The Fairly OddParents (at 3:30 p.m.). Rocket Monkeys premiered on March 4 and has aired 13 new episodes and continued with repeats since. The other weekday change starts tomorrow at 7 a.m. as SpongeBob will replace the morning airings of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Turtles had been airing in that slot since February 28.
