Super Bowl Sunday Marathons and Special Programming

As we mentioned Thursday, Nickelodeon has a four-and-a-half hour marathon of Rugrats from 5-9:30pm (ET/PT). The ‘Rugrats’ Big Adventure Sunday’ marathon features the hour-long special “Runaway Reptar” and includes half-hour specials “Finsterella,” “Murmur on Ornery Express,” “Club Fred” and the classic “A Rugrat’s Vacation” which hasn’t aired on TV in many years. The marathon ends with the 2000 film Rugrats in Paris on Nick@Nite.
Nicktoons and TeenNick are not doing anything out of the ordinary with their schedules today.
While not directly up against the Super Bowl, Cartoon Network does have big Pokémon marathon today from 11am-3pm (ET/PT). The marathon starts with four episodes from “Rival Destinies” followed by the movie “Kyurem vs. The Sword of Justice.” After the movie is an encore of the new season premiere “Adventures in Unova” at 2:30pm. Cartoon Network then follows up with four episodes of Johnny Test, the first two specials for Legends of Chima and ends with the movie Planet 51.
Boomerang doesn’t have anything special planned either, but you could always watch Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends from 8-9pm (ET)!
Disney Channel gets musical with airings of Camp Rock, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, High School Musical and High School Musical 2 from 1-9pm (ET/PT). Rock out!
Disney XD has a ‘Superhuman Sunday’ Lab Rats marathon from noon-7pm followed by a new episode of Mr. Young!
The Hub gets zany with Animaniacs from noon-3:30pm followed by Open Season 2 and The Great Muppet Caper.
