- TELETOON Canada President to Retire Following Corus Entertainment’s Full Acquisition
December 23, 2013 | TELETOON Canada Inc. today announced that the company’s President Len Cochrane has decided to retire in January 2014, following Corus Entertainment’s recent acquisition of the remaining 50 per cent of the company from Bell Media. Cochrane will work closely with Corus Entertainment to ensure the successful transition and integration of TELETOON Canada with Corus Entertainment and will depart in mid to late January 2014.

The programming preemption encourages family togetherness during the holiday morning.

The announcement was made today by Russell Hicks, President of Content Development and Production, Nickelodeon. The series follows a mysterious breed of creatures known as Rabbids who often create mayhem and chaos whilst exploring the human world. While still continuing to discover new things, places, animals and creatures on Earth, the second season storyline will introduce a recurring goal for the Rabbids – get to the moon! New episodes from the second season will wreak havoc beginning mid-2014.
