- Nickelodeon Announces Cast for New Original TV Movie “Swindle”
October 2, 2012 | Kids' will have a chance to see all their favorite Nickelodeon stars together for the first time in the original TV movie, Swindle. Jennette McCurdy (iCarly), Noah Crawford (How to Rock, You Gotta See This) and Noah Munck (iCarly) will team up with Ariana Grande (Victorious), Chris O'Neal (How to Rock, You Gotta See This) and Ciara Bravo (Big Time Rush) in this original comedy caper. Based on a popular children's book by Gordon Korman, production is slated for October 2012 in Vancouver, Canada.

October 2, 2012 | Television's favorite prodigies return for a third season of the Disney Channel comedy series "A.N.T. Farm," it was announced today by Adam Bonnett, Senior Vice President, Original Programming, Disney Channels Worldwide. Production resumes in Los Angeles this December with season three scheduled to premiere in June 2013.

October 2, 2012 | Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello – aka the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – made a triumphant return to television in their new Nickelodeon series premiere this weekend (Saturday, Sept. 29, at 11 a.m., ET/PT), ranking as the week’s top telecast with kids 2-11 (6.2/2.1 million) and boys 6-11 (8.2/837,000) across broadcast and cable TV, and the number-one kids program on basic cable with total viewers (drawing 3.9 million) for the week. Additionally, the new CG-animated version of the series hit a ratings high for Nickelodeon with boys 2-11 (7.5/1.3 million), and was the network’s top-rated premiere for an animated series since 2009. During its premiere weekend the series reached nearly 12 million total viewers.

- Saban Brands Acquires “Digimon” Brand, Including New “Digimon Fusion” Season
September 25, 2012 | Saban Brands has acquired the Digimon
franchise, adding the long-running Japanese anime property to its growing portfolio of
entertainment assets. The acquisition, which encompasses rights to the property
outside of Asia, continues Saban Brands’ dramatic growth since reacquiring the Power
Rangers property and purchasing lifestyle brand Paul Frank in 2010, amongst others.
Saban Brands will work with MarVista Entertainment for distribution of the series
outside of Asia. Japanese animation studio, Toei Animation Co., Ltd. will handle
licensing and distribution of the property in Asia.
