Featuring the voice talents of popular actors Scott Wolf ("Party of Five"), Freddy Rodriguez ("Ugly Betty"), John DiMaggio ("Pound Puppies," "Futurama"), Oded Fehr (The Mummy) and Phil LaMarr ("Mad TV"), the half-hour series from Hasbro Studios is a re-imagination of the wildly successful Duel Masters property in Japan developed by Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro, Inc.

April 4, 2012 | Adventure Time, Cartoon Network’s hit animated comedy series returned Monday night, April 2 (7:30 p.m.) with its fourth season, scoring as the #1 telecast of the day among all targeted kids—ages 2-11, 6-11 and 9-14—earning double and triple-digit growth vs. last year’s time period, according to Nielsen Media Research. The season’s first half-hour episode “Hot to the Touch” also out-paced all kids competition, by double and triple digits ranging between 20% and 353%, and propelled Cartoon Network’s entire Monday night prime time (7-9 p.m.) line-up of animated comedies to #1 on all television among kids 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14, as well as boys 2-11, 6-11 and 9-14. Additionally, Adventure Time attracted more than 2.6 million viewers 2+, up a remarkable 96% vs. the same time period last year.

April 3, 2012 | For the week of March 26, 2012, Disney Junior on Disney Channel delivered the week’s #1 TV series in target preschoolers aged 2-5 with newcomer “Doc McStuffins” and the Top 3 TV series in Boys 2-5 with “Doc McStuffins,” “Jake and the Never Land Pirates” and “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.” Moreover, on the heels of its week-ago record debut, “Doc McStuffins” accounted for the week’s Top 2 TV telecasts in Kids 2-5 (Top 5 among preschool series only) and the Top 3 TV telecasts in Boys 2-5. April 3, 2012 | Nickelodeon's 25th Annual Kids' Choice Awards was a slime-filled extravaganza watched by more than 11 million total viewers over this past weekend. Hosted by Will Smith, the Saturday-night live premiere (March 31, 8p.m. all times ET/PT) ranks as basic cable's number-one telecast for the week (3/26-4/1), averaging 6.2 million total viewers. It also took the top spot for the week with kids and tweens on all TV, averaging a 7.9/2.8 million K2-11, 11.0/2.3 million K6-11 and 11.3/2.3 million T9-14.

April 3, 2012 | Carrying its 1Q'12 winning performance into April, Cartoon Network once again claimed television's #1 network on all TV for the week among boys (2-11, 6-11, 9-14) in Early Evening Prime (7-9 p.m.), charting solid delivery growth across all kids demos in both Prime and Total Day ranging between 2% and 19%. In Prime (7-9 p.m.), average kids 2-11 delivery (859,000) grew by 2%, kids 6-11 (606,000) by 9% and kids 9-14 (473,000) by 16%. In Total Day, average kids 2-11 (534,000) grew by 3%, kids 6-11 (345,000) by 8% and kids 9-14 (281,000) by 19%.
- Disney Junior Channel Reaches Distribution Agreement With NCTC
April 2, 2012 | Disney Junior, the new 24-hour channel for kids age 2-7, and the National Cable Television Cooperative, Inc. (NCTC) have reached an agreement for distribution. The agreement with the NCTC, which serves more than 950 independent cable companies, is in effect immediately, with individual systems set to launch the new network over the next 90 days.
- Kids’ Choice Awards 2012 Winners
March 31, 2012 | Mega-stars including Katy Perry, Tim Tebow, Taylor Lautner, Big Time Rush, Selena Gomez, Kristen Stewart, LMFAO and Justin Bieber reigned as this year's favorites, winning top honors at Nickelodeon's 25th Annual Kids' Choice Awards live telecast, Saturday, March 31, 8-9:30 p.m. (ET/tape delayed for West Coast). Hosted by international superstar and 10-time KCA winner Will Smith, the awards were broadcast from the Galen Center at USC in Los Angeles where kids' top choices in television, movies, music and sports were revealed through a flying blimp, silver robot and sword swallower. Smith made an aerial entrance onto the venue by parachuting down from the official KCA blimp, a 246-foot orange airship situated above the arena. After rappelling to the stage and deactivating a booby trap set by a mysterious Creepy Voice determined to stop the show, Smith kicked off the silver anniversary celebration with a performance of "Can U Handle This" and balloons filled with confetti and slime.

- Disney Channel Starts Production on “Girl Vs. Monster”, Announces Cast
March 28, 2012 | Production has begun in Vancouver, Canada, on "Girl Vs. Monster" (working title), a Halloween-themed Disney Channel Original Movie starring popular actress Olivia Holt (of Disney XD's "Kickin' It") as a teenager who, after inadvertently unleashing an immortal monster when defying her parents' wishes to stay home, is shocked to discover the family secret that she is a fifth generation monster hunter. Olivia Holt performs two of the movie's pop rock songs, "Had Me @Hello," written by Dan Book, Alexei Misoul and Shelly Peiken, and "Fearless," written by Jeannie Lurie, Aris Archontis and Chen Neeman.
