May 8, 2012 | Cartoon Network launched May 2012 by claiming television's #1 network for weekly delivery of boys 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14 in early prime (7-9 p.m.). Compared to the same time period last year, average kids 6-11 delivery (647,000) grew by 8% and kids 9-14 (498,000) by 23%. In Total Day (6 a.m.-9 p.m.), average delivery of kids 6-11 (333,000) increased by 3% and kids 9-14 (267,000) by 15%.

May 8, 2012 | During the week of April 30, 2012, Disney Channel delivered another decisive win as the #1 TV network in Total Day, ranking #1 for the 47th consecutive week in Kids 6-11 (476,000/1.9 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (420,000/1.8 rating), surpassing runner-up Nickelodeon by double-digit percent margins. The win was driven by Nickelodeon's 25th Annual Kids' Choice Awards, which hosted by Will Smith and featuring the biggest and brightest stars in Hollywood, ranks as basic cable's top telecast with total viewers (6.9 million) in April. - Nickelodeon Original Movie “Rags” Premieres May 28
April 23, 2012 | Nickelodeon rocks Memorial Day with the premiere of the brand-new original TV movie, Rags, on Monday, May 28, at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT). Set against a New York City backdrop, this music-infused contemporary twist on the classic Cinderella tale stars Keke Palmer (True Jackson, VP, Akeelah and the Bee) as international pop princess, Kadee Worth and Max Schneider (How to Rock) as an orphan and aspiring singer, Charlie Prince. Beginning May 22, the Rags Soundtrack, featuring nine songs from the movie and three bonus songs, will be available via all digital service providers.
