“iCarly” Finale Scores 6.4 Million Viewers

iCarly "iGoodbye"

6.430 million total viewers tuned in to say “iGoodbye” to iCarly on Friday. Unfortunately that’s not even in the show’s top 10 premieres, it will fall as the 12th highest rated premiere (behind #11 “iDate A Bad Boy” from 5/9/2009 with 6.472 million and the now #13 “iLook Alike” on 3/7/2009 with 6.299 million).

However, this was Nickelodeon’s most watched telecast this year, over the Kids’ Choice Awards (which had 6.162 million viewers).

Demo breakdown, via Nick press release:

iCarly’s “iGoodbye” ranks as the top telecast with kids and tweens for November, averaging a 8.4/2.8 million K2-11 (+100%), 11.7/2.3 million K6-11, 12.5/2.6 million T9-14 and 6.4 million total viewers. The finale also ranks as basic cable’s top kids’ telecast with total viewers for the month.

Our visitors were far more optimistic about the premiere. Many assumed that the show would reach a new series high (over 11.164 million, 45.33%). Sadly, only 3.68% of you guessed correctly (between 6.000 and 6.999 million).
