Disney XD powered to its most-watched summer on record in both Prime and Total Day in Total Viewers and among target kid and boy 6-14, 6-11 and 9-14 demographics, delivering its 4th consecutive summer of increases and its #1 month of all time in July 2012. Contributing to these record levels were original live-action series “Lab Rats,” “Kickin’ It” and “Pair of Kings,” Marvel’s “Avengers: EMH” and “Ultimate Spider-Man,” and high performing PIXAR theatricals “Toy Story 2” and “Finding Nemo.”

  • In Total Day, Summer 12 wrapped as Disney XD’s most-watched summer on record in Total Viewers (414,000), Kids 2-11 (240,000), Kids 6-14 (247,000), Boys 6-14 (140,000), Kids 6-11 (190,000), Tweens 9-14 (169,000) and Boys 9-14 (95,000).
  • In Prime, Summer 12 ranked as Disney XD’s most-watched summer on record in Total Viewers (448,000), Kids 2-11 (263,000), Kids 6-14 (264,000), Kids 6-11 (208,000), Tweens 9-14 (178,000) and Boys 9-14 (104,000).

Programming Highlights

  • Summer event “TRYathalon” (8/13/12), part of ‘Disney’s Magic of Healthy Living,’ premiered as Disney XD’s #1 non-scripted telecast of all time in Kids 6-11 (489,000), Boys 6-11 (220,000) and Tweens 9-14 (417,000), reaching nearly 4 million unique Total Viewers and more than 2.2 unique million Kids 2-11 throughout the week.
  • On Friday, June 22, an airing of “Toy Story 2” became the network’s #2 telecast of all time in Total Viewers (1.81 million) and Kids 2-11 (971,000/2.4 rating).
  • An original “Lab Rats” (Thursday, 7/12/12) ranked as the series’ #3 telecast to date in Kids 6-14 (674,000), Kids 6-11 (545,000) and Tweens 9-14 (492,000).
