Disney XD’s Anthem “Non-Stop Summer” Music Video Premieres Monday, June 18

DISNEY XD’S ANTHEM “NON-STOP SUMMER,” BY COLE PLANTE, FEATURING RAP LYRICS WRITTEN AND PERFORMED BY ADAM HICKS, TO PREMIERE MONDAY, JUNE 18

The music video of the upbeat, hip hop song, “Non-Stop Summer,” with tracks by Cole Plante, featuring rap lyrics written and performed by teen actor Adam Hicks (“Pair of Kings”), will debut as Disney XD’s summer anthem on MONDAY, JUNE 18 (8:45 p.m., ET/PT), during the season three premiere of “Pair of Kings” (8:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney XD. The video, filmed in Malibu, California, and featuring Disney XD stars, will also be available on DisneyXD.com, the Disney XD YouTube channel and will rotate throughout the Disney XD summer schedule.

Last summer was Disney XD’s biggest ever, and 2012 to-date, the channel is outperforming its year-ago performance in Total Day by 14% among Kids 6-14, by 11% among Kids 6-11 and by 22% among Tweens 9-14.

“Non-Stop Summer” will have its Planet Premiere on Radio Disney on MONDAY, JUNE 18 (4:00 p.m. PT/7:00 p.m. ET).

Joining Adam Hicks in the summer party-themed music video are Disney XD stars Doc Shaw (“Pair of Kings”), Kelsey Chow (“Pair of Kings”), Ryan Ochoa (“Pair of Kings”), Leo Howard (“Kickin’ It”), Mateo Arias (“Kickin’ It”), Dylan Riley Snyder (“Kickin’ It”), Alex Christian Jones (“Kickin’ It”), Olivia Holt (“Kickin’ It”), Billy Unger (“Lab Rats”), Spencer Boldman (“Lab Rats”), Kelli Berglund (“Lab Rats”) and Tyrel Jackson Williams (“Lab Rats”).

The “Non-Stop Summer” music video was directed by Art Spigel (“Disney Channel Games,” “We Can Change The World”) and marks the fourth time Hicks has collaborated on a song for Disney XD. Previous songs include Hicks and Ryan Newman’s holiday jam, “Happy Universal Holidays,” Hicks’ and Daniel Curtis Lee’s hip hop spin on the classic song, “In The Summertime,” and their remake of the MC Hammer hit, “U Can’t Touch This.”
