“Annoying Orange” Premieres Well, “Hollywood Heights” Preview Doesn’t

Cartoon Network’s official premiere of the new Annoying Orange TV series last night (8:30pm) scored 2.630 million total viewers, much better than the preview episode on May 28 (1.786 million). That held a large percent of Regular Show’s new episode at 8pm, which had 2.729 million total viewers.

MAD, which followed Orange at 8:45pm, scored 2.351 million viewers – also up a lot from recent premieres.

The Hollywood Heights preview premiere on Nick@Nite at 9pm didn’t fare so well. Only 558,000 total viewers of which only 152,000 were adults 18-49, tuned in for the primetime drama. The same first episode is airing again each night this week at 9pm before the “official” premiere next Monday. If things don’t improve, it’s going to be a long 16 weeks (80 episodes) for the network…

Elsewhere on this Monday night, Disney XD’s new episode of Kickin’ It at 8pm scored 462,000 viewers and the second season premiere of Mr. Young at 9pm scored 340,000 viewers. Pair of Kings returns next Monday between the two shows, which will more than likely boost each some.
