LOS ANGELES – The Hub TV Network blasted into the post holiday summer season with strong premiere performances of its original series “Care Bears: Welcome to Care-a-Lot” and “Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Masters” powering the network to its best week in six months among key target demographics for the week of May 28 – June 3.
Also pacing the outstanding week for The Hub were solid audience deliveries for the season two premiere of its popular animated series “Pound Puppies,” the special 30th anniversary presentation of the iconic film “E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial,” and significant year-over-year increases for the network’s key original series including “Transformers Rescue Bots,” R.L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour: The Series,” “The Aquabats! Super Show!” and “Family Game Night.”
With this week’s success, in Total Day The Hub has now demonstrated year-to-year gains for 22 consecutive weeks among Kids 2-11, Adults 18-49, Persons 2+.

- In Total Day, The Hub earned year-to-year delivery gains among Kids 6-11 (+39%, 25,000), Kids 2-11 (+69%, 49,000), Women 18-49 (+57%, 22,000), Adults 18-49 (+67%, 45,000), Persons 2+ (+61%, 116,000) and Households (+43%, 73,000).
- In Prime (Monday – Sunday, 8 p.m. – 11 p.m.), The Hub earned year-to-year delivery gains among Kids 2-11 (+53%, 49,000), Women 18-49 (+25%, 25,000), Adults 18-49 (+57%, 55,000), Persons 2+ (+65%, 155,000) and Households (+52%, 100,000).

- The season two premiere of The Hub’s original series “Pound Puppies” (Saturday, 9 a.m.) earned year-to-year delivery gains among Kids 2-11 (+105%, 166,000), Women 18-49 (+119%, 46,000), Adults 18-49 (+109%, 96,000), Persons 2+ (+121%, 299,000) and Households (+100%, 176,000).
- Part one of the three-part premiere of The Hub’s original series “Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Masters” (Saturday, 8 p.m.) earned year-to-year delivery gains among Women 18-49 (+52%, 50,000) and Adults 18-49 (+42%, 84,000).
- The Hub’s network debut of “E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial” (Friday, 9 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.) earned year-to-year delivery gains among Kids 6-11 (+53%, 52,000), Kids 2-11 (+127%, 109,000), Women 18-49 (+213%, 47,000), Adults 18-49 (+457%, 128,000) and Persons 2+ (+214%, 342,000).
- In a special 6-hour marathon introducing the Hub TV premiere of “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman” (Sunday, 8 p.m. – 2 a.m.) earned year-to-year delivery gains among Women 18-49 (+57%, 22,000), Adults 18-49 (+182%, 62,000), Persons 2+ (+142%, 157,000) and Households (+119%, 118,000).
- In its Sunday, 10 p.m., time slot, “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman” delivered year-to-year delivery gains among Kids 6-11 (+145%, 27,000), Kids 2-11 (+300%, 44,000), Women 18-49 (+867%, 29,000), Adults 18-49 (+833%, 84,000), Persons 2+ (+781%, 229,000) and Households (+605%, 148,000).
- A new episode of “The Aquabats! Super Show!” (Saturday, 11 a.m.) earned year-to-year delivery gains among Kids 6-11 (+65%, 71,000), Kids 2-11 (+44%, 130,000), Persons 2+ (+23%, 206,000) and Households (+28%, 137,000).
- “R.L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour: The Series” (Saturday, 5 p.m.) earned year-to-year delivery gains among Kids 6-11 (+115%, 43,000), Kids 2-11 (+154%, 66,000), Women 18-49 (+950%, 42,000), Adults 18-49 (+219%, 86,000), Persons 2+ (+155%, 194,000) and Households (+100%, 124,000).
- “Family Game Night” (Sunday, 7 p.m.) earned year-to-year delivery gains among Kids 6-11 (+23%, 43,000), Kids 2-11 (+68%, 67,000), Women 18-49 (+222%, 29,000), Adults 18-49 (+38%, 47,000), Persons 2+ (+32%, 135,000) and Households (+15%, 83,000).
- “Transformers Rescue Bots” (Saturday, 11:30 a.m.) earned year-to-year delivery gains among Kids 6-11 (+26%, 44,000), Kids 2-11 (+26%, 91,000), Women 18-49 (+127%, 25,000) and Persons 2+ (+5%, 160,000).
