Disney Channel May 12 Total Day and Prime Highlights
Powered by “Good Luck Charlie,” “Shake It Up” and “Jessie,” during May 2012 Disney Channel ranked as the #1 TV network in Total Day for the 13th consecutive month in Kids 6-11 (490,000/2.0 rating) and for the 25th consecutive month Tweens 9-14 (426,000/1.8 rating) – both records for the network.
Disney Channel towered over Nickelodeon by double-digit percent margins in Kids 6-11 (20% – 490,000 vs. 409,000) and Tweens 9-14 (38% – 426,000 vs. 309,000), representing the network’s 11th straight month winning by such large margins in the target demos.
In Prime, Disney Channel extended its streak as TV’s #1 network to 87 consecutive months in Kids 6-11 (919,000/3.7 rating) and to 82 months in a row in Tweens 9-14 (779,000/3.2 rating).
