 Disney Channel: Total Day and Prime Highlights

During the week of May 7, 2012, Disney Channel dominated TV’s landscape, sweeping top rank in Total Day for the 48th straight week in Kids 6-11 (523,000/2.1 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (446,000/1.9 rating) — overshadowing runner-up Nickelodeon by double-digit percent margins – and was also the #1 TV network in Kids 2-11 (834,000/2.0 rating).

Impressively, this was Disney Channel’s 27th consecutive week boasting a double-digit percent advantage in Total Day in Kids 6-11 (+33% – 523,000 vs. 392,000) and its 29th consecutive week in Tweens 9-14 (+51% – 446,000 vs. 295,000) – marking the network’s longest stint on record boasting such sizeable victories in the target demographics.

Disney Channel continues to be the destination in Prime across all TV, standing as the #1 TV network for the 364th consecutive week in Kids 6-11 (987,000/4.0 rating), or for 7 years in the target demo. In Tweens 9-14 (813,000/3.4 rating), the network was #1 for the 99th week in a row, and for the 361st time in the previous 364 weeks overall.
