Coming off its most-watched February in the network’s history, and its 2nd-most-watched month overall in Prime in Total Viewers, Kids 2-11 and Kids 6-14, newest original series “Lab Rats” launched as Disney XD’s #1 original series premiere in its history (includes Toon Disney) in Total Viewers (1.3 million), Kids 2-11 (775,000/1.9 rating), Kids 6-14 (861,000/2.4 rating), Boys 6-14 (493,000/2.7 rating), Kids 6-11 (681,000/2.8 rating), Tweens 9-14 (584,000/2.4 rating) and Boys 9-14 (358,000/2.9 rating), and its #1 live-action series premiere of all time in Boys 6-11 (359,000/2.9 rating), posting the network’s best ratings ever in the time period across target kid demos.
Moreover, “Lab Rats” became Disney XD’s #1 original series telecast of all time in Total Viewers, Kids 6-14, Boys 6-14, Tweens 9-14 and Boys 9-14.
- “Lab Rats” registered impressive increases over year-ago time period levels (2/28/11), including by more than double in Total Viewers (121% – 1.3 million vs. 587,000), Kids 2-11 (106% – 775,000 vs. 376,000), Kids 6-14 (121% – 861,000 vs. 389,000), Boys 6-14 (104% – 493,000 vs. 242,000) and Kids 6-11 (125% – 681,000 vs. 302,000).
“Kickin’ It” (8:00 – 8:30 p.m.)
Providing a solid launch pad for “Lab Rats,” “Kickin’ It” hit a series high in Boys 9-14 (319,000/2.6 rating), was the series’ #2 telecast ever in Boys 6-14 (389,000/2.1 rating), and garnered 7 month highs in Total Viewers (901,000), Kids 2-11 (554,000/1.3 rating), Kids 6-14 (588,000/1.6 rating), Kids 6-11 (470,000/1.9 rating), Boys 6-11 (292,000/2.3 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (433,000/1.8 rating) – since 7/25/11.
- “Kickin’ It” drove Disney XD to time period highs in the half-hour in Boys 6-14 and Boys 9-14, and to its second-best numbers ever in Boys 6-11.
