The debut of special “Jake and the Never Land: Peter Pan Returns!” ranked as the series’ most-watched telecast of all time in Total Viewers (3.1 million), Disney Channel’s #1 evening preschool telecast ever in Kids 2-5 (930,000/5.6 rating), Girls 2-5 (504,000/6.2 rating) and Women 18-49 (579,000/0.9 rating), and the #2 nighttime preschool telecast in Boys 2-5 (427,000/5.0 rating).
Impressively, “Jake and the Never Land: Peter Pan Returns!” out-performed Nickelodeon’s most recent evening preschool special, “Dora’s Enchanted Forest” (11/20/11, 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.), by solid margins, including by 35% in Total Viewers (3.1 million vs. 2.3 million), by 9% in Kids 2-5 (930,000 vs. 855,000), by 13% in Boys 2-5 (427,000 vs. 379,000), by 6% in Girls 2-5 (504,000 vs. 476,000) and by a hefty 43% in Women 18-49 (579,000 vs. 406,000).
- “Jake and the Never Land: Peter Pan Returns!” powered Disney Channel to its best performance in the hour in nearly 10 years in Kids 2-5, Girls 2-5 and Boys 2-5 – since October 2003 – and its 2nd-best performance overall.
- Since its February 14, 2011 launch, “Jake and the Never Land Pirates” stands as cable’s #1 series in Boys 2-5 (421,000/4.9 rating).
