- Boomerang Hears a Who This Thanksgiving Weekend
November 18, 2011 | Boomerang is getting a jump start on the Thanksgiving Holiday with a week of family-targeted programming specials, mini-marathons and yuletide classics that is crowned by the network premiere of Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears a Who!. On Wednesday, Nov. 23 at 4 p.m. (ET) and Thursday, Nov. 24, at 9:30 p.m. (ET), Boomerang will present for the first time the 1970 animated fable from Theodore Geisel, a.k.a. “Dr. Seuss,” which underscores the universal message, “a person’s a person no matter how small.” Families will be able to enjoy this timeless fantasy alongside another animated holiday classic, The Thanksgiving That Almost Wasn’t (1972), which will air on Nov. 23 at 4:30 p.m., and Nov. 24 at 9 p.m.

Monday night ranked once again as the #1 destination on all television for boys 9-14. Adventure Time (8 p.m.) was the #1 telecast of the day among boys 9-14 (up 19% vs. the 2010 time period), and also ranked #1 in its time period among boys 6-11/9-14. Regular Show (8:15 p.m.) and MAD (8:30 p.m.) both ranked #1 in their time periods among boys 6-11/9-14.
