March 22, 2011 | Cartoon Network was the #1 destination for boys 6-11 and boys 9-14 on Monday night (7-9 p.m.), earning double- and triple-digit gains last week vs. the same 2010 time period. Overall, kids 6-11 delivery (733,000) increased by 47% and ratings (3.0) by 50%, kids 2-11 delivery (986,000) increased by 27% and ratings (2.4) by 26%, kids 9-14 delivery (605,000) and ratings (2.5) both increased by 127%, boys 6-11 delivery (575,000) increased by 62% and ratings (4.5) by 61%, boys 2-11 delivery (747,000) increased by 68% and ratings (3.5) by 67%, and boys 9-14 delivery (477,000) increased by 137% and ratings (3.8) by 138%.

March 22, 2011 | Nickelodeon notched another weekly ratings win (3/14/11-3/20/11) as basic cable’s number-one network with total viewers (2.2 million) and kids 2-11 (3.4/1.2 million) in total day. The net’s win was fueled by performances from a brand-new episode of iCarly “iPity the Nevel” (Saturday, March 19, 8 p.m. ET/PT), which ranks as basic cable’s top scripted series telecast for the week with total viewers (4.6 million); and SpongeBob SquarePants, which owned eight of the top 10 telecasts with kids 2-11 for the week.

- Paramount, Nick & Shout! Announce Sub-Licensing Agreement for Classic Nicktoons on DVD & Blu-ray
March 22, 2011 | Paramount Home Entertainment, Nickelodeon and Shout! Factory today announced a sub-licensing agreement that will give Shout! Factory rights to distribute DVD and Blu-ray releases of some of Nick's classic animated programs, including The Wild Thornberrys, Hey Arnold, Danny Phantom, Aaaah! Real Monsters, and Rocko's Modern Life in the United States and Canada.
- Friday 3/18 Cable Ratings: “Suite Life on Deck” and “Fish Hooks” Both Down
March 21, 2011 | Friday’s new episodes of The Suite Life on Deck and Fish Hooks on Disney Channel were quite low. Compared to the previous new episode, Suite Life was down 790,000 total viewers, 0.3 point in the teen 12-17 demo and 1.2 points in the kids 2-11 demo. Fish Hooks took a bigger hit, down from last week’s episode by 1.143 million total viewers, 0.6 points in the teen 12-17 demo and 1.7 points in the kids 2-11 demo.

March 21, 2011 | Disney XD's hit animated series, "Kick Buttowski – Suburban Daredevil," begins its star-studded second season with NBA star Dwight Howard (Orlando Magic) in a guest starring role, SATURDAY, APRIL 30 (8:30 a.m., ET/PT). The sophomore season premiere also guest stars Emmanuelle Chriqui ("Entourage").
