The Gumball repeat at 8:30 is still doing pretty good, though down week-to-week by 269,000 total viewers and 0.4 points with K2-11.

The net also bested its closest competitor by double-digits with total viewers (+36%), kids 2-11 (+33%), and kids 2-5 (+78%).

May 17, 2011 | Cartoon Network’s weekly early evening (7-9 p.m.) delivery and ratings increased by double digits across all kids demos vs. the same time period last year: kids 6-11 delivery (585,000) increased by 15% and ratings (2.4) by 14%, kids 2-11 delivery (861,000) and ratings (2.1) both increased by 11%, and kids 9-14 delivery (426,000) and ratings (1.7) both increased by 13%. In Total Day, kids 9-14 average delivery (241,000) grew by 9% and ratings (1.0) by 11%, while kids 6-11 delivery (325,000) grew by 4% and ratings remained flat.

May 16, 2011 | Yabba dabba doo! FOX has picked up THE FLINTSTONES, a 21st century version of the classic animated comedy from executive producer Seth MacFarlane. In a cross-studio collaboration, THE FLINTSTONES will be produced jointly by 20th Century Fox Television and Warner Bros. Television. Warner Bros. is home to THE FLINTSTONES via its ownership of the Hanna-Barbera collection of animated titles. Dan Palladino (“Gilmore Girls”) and Kara Vallow (Family Guy) will also serve as executive producers. THE FLINTSTONES will begin production in fall 2011 and will be set in stone on the FOX schedule in 2013.

May 16, 2011 | Disney will donate nearly $1 million dollars globally through Disney's Friends for Change, its multiplatform pro-social initiative, and the new "Disney Friends for Change Games" that helps kids help the planet and their communities. Over 30 Disney Channel and Disney XD stars from around the globe will compete in "Disney Friends for Change Games," a series of fun physical challenges inspired by everyday "green" acts. Four teams will play on behalf of an environmental charity -- Fauna and Flora International, World Wildlife Fund, Ocean Conservancy and UNICEF. For five weeks beginning FRIDAY, JUNE 24, Disney Channel will present "Disney Friends for Change Games" in interstitials during its Friday, Saturday and Sunday primetime original series programming, and Disney XD will present a special episode from the games Monday nights beginning JUNE 27 (9:30 p.m., ET/PT). The Games will culminate with a special half-hour episode SUNDAY, JULY 31 on Disney Channel.
