This October, Boomerang is getting into the Halloween mood with new schedule changes, two live-action sitcom additions and marathons all month long!

Two classic sitcoms – The Munsters and The Addams Family – will join the line-up starting tomorrow (October 3). The Munsters will air weekdays at 2pm and 7pm and Saturdays from 6-8pm. The Addams Family will air weekdays at 7:30pm.

Not to be confused with the live-action series of the same name, but the 1992 Hanna-Barbera animated The Addams Family series will return to Boomerang – airing weekdays at 11:30am and Sundays from 6-8pm.

Other animated series back on the line-up include: Funky Phantom (weekdays at 10:30am), Goober and the Ghost Chasers (weekdays at 11am), What’s New Scooby-Doo? (weekdays at 12:30pm), Shirt Tales (weekends from 9-10am) and Courage the Cowardly Dog (Sundays from 4-6pm).

Boomerang will also get into the double-up mode, airing shows in hour-long chunks more than they have before. Notable weekday double-ups: Smurfs (9:30-10:30am and 3:30-4:30am), The Jetsons (3-4pm), The Flintstones (4-5pm), Ben 10 (5:30-6:30pm, no change), Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? (8-9pm), The Powerpuff Girls (10-11pm) and Teen Titans (11pm-12am). Weekends have double-up episodes each day from 9am-6am!

Weekends from 2-4pm, Boomerang will also present two hours of Scooby-Doo programming, including The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries, The 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo and Scooby & Scrappy Doo.

In other special programming events:

On Columbus Day (Monday, October 10): The 1992 animated The Addams Family will air from 6am-10:30am followed by The Munsters from 10:30am-5:30pm.

On Saturday, October 15, Boomerang presents an 18-hour Scooby-Doo marathon featuring many series and movies, including A Pup Named Scooby-Doo!

Boomerang’s schedule for October 31 (Halloween) has yet to be announced.
