“The Looney Tunes Show” Hit Series High Ratings on September 6, 2011

Warner Bros. Animation’s hit first-year comedy series THE LOONEY TUNES SHOW, airing Tuesdays at 8/7c on Cartoon Network, delivered a series high performance among its target demographic of Kids 6–11, as well as Total Viewers 2+ and several other key measurements on Tuesday, September 6, according to ratings information provided by Nielsen Media Research.

  • Kids 6–11: series high 4.6 rating, up +24% from 3.7 last week
  • Total Viewers 2+: series high 2,557,000 viewers, up +12% from 2,284,000 last week
  • Kids 2–11: series high 3.5 rating, up +9% from 3.2 last week
  • Boys 2–11: series high 4.9 rating, up +9% from 4.5 last week
  • Boys 6–11: series high 6.6 rating, up +25% from 5.3 last week
  • Boys 9–14: series high 4.6 rating, equaling previous series high established last week

Season to date, THE LOONEY TUNES SHOW is delivering significant year-to-year gains for Cartoon Network in the Tuesdays 8/7c time period, over the same time frame (vs. May 4–September 7, 2010) last year

  • Total Viewers 2+: Season to date average of 2,134,000 viewers is up +68% over 1,272,000 during same time frame last year
  • Kids 2–11: Season to date average rating of 2.9 is up +53% over 1.9 during same time frame last year
  • Kids 6–11: Season to date average rating of 3.5 is up +75% over 2.0 during same time frame last year
  • Boys 2–11: Season to date average rating of 3.9 is up +50% over 2.6 during same time frame last year
  • Boys 6–11: Season to date average rating of 4.9 is up +69% over 2.9 during same time frame last year
