Cartoon Network Ratings Highlights for May 2011

Across the month of May 2011, Cartoon Network’s Monday night line-up of original animated comedies—The Amazing World of Gumball (7:30 p.m.), Adventure Time (8 p.m.), Regular Show (8:30 p.m.) and Problem Solverz (8:45 p.m.)—each ranked #1 in their timeslots on all television among all key boy demos. The night posted double-digit gains among all kids and boys demos, with kids 6-11 delivery (832,000) increasing by 26%, kids 9-14 delivery (620,000) increasing by 37%, and kids 2-11 (1,088,000) increasing by 15%.

Tuesday night’s The Looney Tunes Show was #1 in its time period among all key boy demos and posted double and triple-digit gains among all key demos: Kids 6-11 delivery (973,000) grew by 73%, kids 9-14 delivery (730,000) grew by 135%, and kids 2-11 delivery (1,412,000) grew by 57%.

Compared to May 2010, Cartoon Network charted good gains among Total Day ratings and delivery—kids 6-11 delivery (327,000) increased by 7% and ratings (1.3) by 8%, and kids 9-14 delivery (242,000) and ratings (1.0) both increased by 11%.

Cartoon Network’s early evening posted double-digit delivery and ratings gains across the board versus last year. Kids 6-11 delivery (596,000) increased by 19% and ratings (2.4) by 20%, kids 9-14 delivery (425,000) increased by 22% and ratings (1.7) grew by 21%, and kids 2-11 delivery (865,000) increased by 15% and ratings (2.1) grew by 17%.
