Cartoon Network Ratings Highlights for May 9 – 15, 2011

Cartoon Network’s weekly early evening (7-9 p.m.) delivery and ratings increased by double digits across all kids demos vs. the same time period last year: kids 6-11 delivery (585,000) increased by 15% and ratings (2.4) by 14%, kids 2-11 delivery (861,000) and ratings (2.1) both increased by 11%, and kids 9-14 delivery (426,000) and ratings (1.7) both increased by 13%. In Total Day, kids 9-14 average delivery (241,000) grew by 9% and ratings (1.0) by 11%, while kids 6-11 delivery (325,000) grew by 4% and ratings remained flat.
Cartoon Network’s Monday night line-up (7-9 p.m.) of original animated comedies was the #1 TV destination for all boys demos (2-11, 6-11 and 9-14), earning solid delivery gains across all kids and boys demos vs. the prior year. Original series The Amazing World of Gumball (7:30 p.m.), Adventure Time (8 p.m.), Regular Show (8:15 p.m.), MAD (8:30 p.m.) and Problem Solverz (8:45 p.m.) all ranked #1 in their timeslots on all television among boys, also scoring gains across nearly all kids and boys demos.
With The Looney Tunes Show (8 p.m.) charting double and triple-digit delivery and ratings gains across the board vs. last year, Cartoon Network’s Tuesday night (7-9 p.m.) ranked #1 on all television among boys 6-11 and 9-14. In addition to capturing all boys demos, The Looney Tunes Show bounded ahead to rank #1 in its time period on all TV among kids 2-11.
