Cartoon Network Ratings Highlights for May 2 – 8, 2011

Buoyed by the Tuesday night premiere of The Looney Tunes Show, Cartoon Network’s weekly early evening (7-9 p.m.) delivery and ratings grew across all kids demos vs. the same time period last year: kids 6-11 delivery (559,000) increased by 8% and ratings (2.3) by 10%, kids 2-11 delivery (849,000) increased by 9% and ratings (2.0) by 5%, and kids 9-14 delivery (382,000) increased by 11% and ratings (1.6) by 14%.
Cartoon Network’s newest animated series The Looney Tunes Show (8 p.m.) premiered Tuesday night as the #1 show in its time period for all boy demos, posting double and triple-digit growth across the board compared to the 2010 time period. The performance propelled Cartoon Network’s entire Tuesday night (7-9 p.m.) to rank #1 on all television among all boys demos, earning double-digit gains among all kids demos as well.
Cartoon Network’s Monday night line-up (7-9 p.m.) of original animated comedies was the #1 TV destination for boys 6-11 and 9-14, and earned double-digit delivery gains across all kids and boys demos vs. the prior year. Anchor series Adventure Time (8 p.m.) and Regular Show (8:30 p.m.) both ranked #1 in their timeslots on all television among all boys—2-11, 6-11 and 9-14—while earning solid gains among key kids and boys demos.
