Across the month of April 2011, Cartoon Network’s Monday night line-up of original animated comedies—Adventure Time (8 p.m.), MAD (8:15 p.m.) and Regular Show (8:30 p.m.)—each ranked #1 in their timeslots on all television among kids 6-11, kids 2-11, boys 6-11 and boys 2-11.
April’s Friday nights of animated action-adventure programming earned double-digit delivery gains among kids 9-14 (468,000/ up 11%) and boys 9-14 (406,000/ up 14%) vs. April 2010. Additionally, new episodes of Cartoon Network’s #1 action-adventure original series, Ben 10: Ultimate Alien (7:30 p.m.), averaged solid growth across all kids and boys demos: kids 6-11 delivery (555,000) grew by 5%, kids 2-11 (848,000) grew by 9%, kids 9-14 (529,000) grew by 38%, boys 6-11 delivery (460,000) grew by 5%, boys 2-11 delivery (625,000) grew by 2% and boys 9-14 delivery (434,000) grew by 34%.
For the final week of April, Cartoon Network charted good gains among Total Day ratings and delivery—kids 6-11 delivery (336,000) increased by 4% and ratings (1.4) by 8%, and kids 9-14 delivery (263,000) increased by 16% and ratings (1.1) by 22%.
